You can't win a war that you don't believe is worth fighting.

Our enemies in Iraq need to know that they can not outlast the will of the American people.

Bush's election strategy has been to go "directly" to the American people. That is why he is campaigning where he is. He is using a local approach; campaign stop by campaign stop in each of the battleground states. He gets local media attention. Most of which is less biased than the nationals. So his message gets out at each important local stop. The folks in these battleground states feel "honored" that the president is taking the time visit and talk with them directly.
Turnout on Nov 2nd will be the key. We have seen signs going back to 2002, the the republican turnout has been vastly underestimated in the polls. That is why Bush is going to win this thing easily.

Thin-skinned Kerry is getting blistered. He'll probably have a press conference this afternoon. HAKerry will call for a noon press conference which he will have around 4:30.

He will never have an audience that massive again. Baloney. He is the leader of the free world. He can have that audience any time he really wants it. Besides, he has 2 more debates.

He is close to tears when talking about the American people, the troops and the sacrifices of our coalition. God bless him.HE loves freedom.

"I wish he acted like this the other night....this is classic Bush....the race would have been over with."
For crying out loud.....get over it. This is in the past and we must concentrate on the future.
To: Lizarde
I do not believe that "winning a debate" means anything at all about a person's ability to be president.I agree 100 percent; I've yet to see ANY president debate a foreign leader, have you?
This is NOT the Yale Debating Union.

GWB will mop the floor with Kerry at Friday's debate, a townhall meeting, GWB's best territory for debates.

sKeery/dEdwards use "A Stronger America" I think their slogan is quite accurate, if you correct the typo.

Our soldiers and marines need to know that we will honor their service by completing their mission and terrorists need to know they will never out last America.
Kerry says he will win the war but calls the war a mistake, a diversion. He should know you can't win a war if you don't believe in fighting. Kerry has as strategy for retreat, I have one of victory

Marps, I'm STILL convinced that to an extent Bush "sandbagged" last week in order to draw out of Kerry certain lines and positions that Bush and Cheney could use to hammer him with, and Kerry obliged.
I also think there is another reason Bush deliberately did not bring his "a" game last week, but it borders on Kookville.
