Muslim outrage at prophet slur

Muslim outrage at prophet slur A POLITICAL researcher working for high-profile UK Independence Party Euro MP Robert Kilroy-Silk has been accused of inflaming racial hatred by claiming the Prophet Mohammed was a paedophile and castigating Islam as a false religion.

Outspoken solicitor Tony Bennett, of Chippingfield, Old Harlow, insists his views, which were published in the Sunday Telegraph at the weekend, are based on historical fact.

His comments have been condemned by the Muslim Council of Britain but Mr Bennett said this week he had received a lot of support.

“These are things that should be brought into the public domain and talked about,” he told the Star.

Mr Bennett, who was sacked from his role as assistant to local UKIP MEP Jeffrey Titford in 2001 for writing disparaging remarks about a former colleague, carried out his research following the 9/11 attacks. He concluded Mohammed had between 16-22 wives and had sexual relations with a child bride.

He criticised those in the Muslim community who “cry Islamophobia” whenever such comments are made. And when asked his opinion on Islam, he said: “It’s a false religion. They deny that Christ was the son of God. The Koran itself talks about Christianity being a false religion.”

Yet Mr Bennett also condemned racial stereotyping, insisting: “There’s no hatred here. Many Muslims in this country are hard-working people who just want to get on and I have no problem with them.

“I am dealing with historical facts that are in Islamic textbooks.”

And he pointed to the fact that he assisted Asian postal worker Mahmood Siddiqui, who was awarded £130,000 compensation after claiming he was subjected to racial abuse while working at the Royal Mail sorting office in Harlow, as proof that he was not anti-Muslim.

Inayat Bunglawala, Essex spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain, described Mr Bennett as an idiot.

“Those kinds of remarks, saying the Prophet was a paedophile, are utterly unacceptable,” he said. “The Prophet is held in huge respect by Muslims the world over and he changed the course of history. The best thing we can do is try to ignore him. I think Mr Bennett is not fit to lick the shoes of the Prophet.”

He added: “His main claim is that the Prophet married an underage girl but at that time in Arabia they had different laws.”

The Rev Andrew Forys, of Our Lady of Fatima Church, in Howard Way, Harlow, said: “I don’t know Mr Bennett’s argument or his views so I can’t comment, but I’m against religions attacking other religions.

“I’m not against religions arguing – that’s something we should be doing to try to prove our point.”

Charles Jackson, president of the Harlow Jewish Community, accused Mr Bennett of trouble-making, while the Rev David Kirk-wood, of St Paul’s Church, in The High, Harlow, said: “There are differences of opinion between Christians and Muslims but it’s very important we respect each other’s beliefs and that we don’t try to undermine the founder of their religions.”

Btw he also married his adopted sons wife.. Yep he made him divorce her so he could have her.... We read in Sura al-Ahzab 33:37,

"When thou saidst to him whom God has blessed and thou hadst favoured, 'Keep thy wife to thyself; and fear God', and thou wast concealing within thyself what God should reveal, fearing other men; and God has better right for thee to fear Him. So when Zaid had accomplished what he would of her, then We gave her in marriage to thee, so that there should not be any fault in the believers, touching the wives of their adopted son, when they had accomplished what they would of them; and God's commandment must be performed."

Your name just went to the top of the Muslim hit list.

Do you mind if I join you?

ISLAM SUCKS!

(Do you notice we never have any Muslims defending their religion on this forum anymore?)

I think it is interesting that the article never mentioned the age of the little girl, especially since "His main claim is that the Prophet married an underage girl"

Do the Muslims dispute the age of the girl or is their only defense "that time in Arabia they had different laws"?

Hate it all you want but there were no statuatory rape laws back then.

There has to be a codification in law for a thing to be wrong or immoral?

F the whole lot of them! Only a disgusting fool would get on their knees 5x a day to pray to a pshyco pervert. Then they get upset for someone telling the truth about their false religion? They are beyond help as far as I'm concerned.

Watch it come? It's already here.

Ahhh the words of "rational" islam.

He added: “His main claim is that the Prophet married an underage girl but at that time in Arabia they had different laws.” Which we shall soon bring to you infidel pigs. Death to the Queen. His thoughts I'm sure.

No offense ;)

Its tough to see sarcasm through typing alone!

I actually started the post in truth, because I thought the young lady was 15 or something like that. Then I read she was 6 and immediate reverted to "make fun of the college moral relativist"

It all depends on your definition of "underage".

How old was his wife? Nine.

Is her age in dispute? No. Some latter day apologists claim the marraige was not consumated until she was 13.

"...but I’m against religions attacking other religions."

That right, Rev? How special. Go convince your Muslim brethren of that, then, then come talk to me.

Another CINO heard from. Get some testicular fortitude Rev Andrew. The Church, up until the 20th century, called it like it was, Islam is a HERESY! Islam and its precepts were heavily influenced by the Arian Heresy. It denies the cross, Christ, and the need for redemption. 'nough said!

I'm sure the Rev would be shocked if he actually took the time to study Islamic beliefs which include exhorting the Islamic Faithful to cheat, rob, lie to, extort from, rape women,( By age 8, females are veiled and separated from males) enslave, torture and murder anyone who isn't a good Muslim.

The Reverend needs to read the Koran, Hadith, and brush up on some history like my homeschooled son and I did when we studied world religions prior to 9/11. Even back then, my son and I discovered Islam ain't a religion of peace, respect or tolerance towards non-Muslims--that's fer dang sure...

hmmmm... lessee Mo married a 7 year old and consummated the marriage when she was 9 and he was in his 50s/60s. That's written in their holey books. Now that does sound like a paedo to me, doesn't it?

Judging someone who lived in a different culture over a thousand years ago by today's standards is pretty pathetic.

Who's judging, we're giving a statement of fact -- he consummated his marriage with an underage girl. Does that fit the definition of a paedo? Yes. Genghiz Khan committed genocide. That ain't a judgement, that's a fact

Absolutely, and especially in a nation with an established Church. I fear for England, and our country.

Why? Standards of right and wrong are eternal.
