No way to tell, but I doubt it.

Too much risk for the reputation of PBS and the DNC to have either party approach the other, and not enough upside. The specific questions wouldn't matter that much anyway. The main subject was going to be Iraq, and both canidates had their talking points.

I taped the debate and will look at it tonight, for my own satisfaction. I faintly remember him reaching into his inside right pocket but, (not knowing the debates rules), didn't give it a thought at the time. If it's a good shot I'll try to capture it and put it on FR.
