Kerry is clearly setting something up or positioning notes or ... You can also see him opening what appears to be a cover. Watch the video carefully.

Let me ask you a question that I've asked on other threads. If this punk is president on 1/21/05, and you had sons of the age to enlist, would you encourage them to do so with Kerry as their Commander in Chief? Just curious.

On a recent thread after the debate, if my memory serves me, a freeper noticed that someone from the Kerry side had quickly come to the podium after the debate and retrieved Kerry's things from it and was wondering if the same person would collect the President's items too. Perhaps the retrieval is on tape as well.

I know what I saw. It was maybe 2 x 4 and it appeared that he flipped it open what ever it was.

His, Shrillery's, Billdo's, Scuba Teddy's . . .

ARROGANCE

is the problem--they construe themselves as gods since they won't submit to THE GOD ALMIGHTY.

They believe it's their privilege and duty to get away with whatever violations of any laws they find inconvenient to their selfish power mongering and greed.

After re-runing it about 20 times, he laid it down and then placed his handS over it -- as if to hide something...

Question... when people use ear phones, don't they need a power source? Do they have wireless? I don't know, just a thought since I saw a posting that a radio host this evening suggested at the end of the debate he removed something from his ear.

...or a digital PDA.

Or more likely, a wireless PDA connected to his debate team.

Has anyone looked at the END of the debate to see if they can see him picking it up again. Maybe there might be a better view of the object at the end of the debate.

Even if Kerry were cheating, the media will make nothing of it. And Bush can't really complain because he would sound like a whiner. I suspect this is going nowhere.

I have to wonder also if maybe the president really lost by "winning" the coin toss and choosing to have his closing remarks go first. That was a good statement but I wonder if he would have been better off taking the first question. Kerry giving the first answer seemed to throw Bush off kilter right from the beginning. Maybe he would have been better off getting the first question.

The question isn't whether you could tell exactly what it was that he took out, the point is HE CHEATED!

And while everyone is focusing on his "Cheat Sheet", that sheet may also have contained the complete list of Lehrer's questions given to Kerry ahead of time!!

"PDA's can be wireless."

---Not saying it is a PDA but most Universities now have wireless capabilities

Your right about them being index cards. No doubt about it. The only question is did they also have a complete list of Lehrer's questions???????????

Is it possible what Kerry took out of his pocket was a hanker-chief? He is known to be a sweater and perhaps he was anticipating this body function and brought along something to wipe his face (upper lip) with.

I think you'll find my post makes no such assertion, just reporting what I heard on Whitman. Callers say the damndest things, especially on a Sunday night. Still if there's an angle that better illustrates what Kerry pulled out of his pocket we should try to locate it. If Jim R wants to pull my posting plug for a few days because I mentioned this I'll live with it. Kerry took something out of his jacket and it wasn't an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of looseleaf.
