Just announced on CNN.
Troll alert. I don't see it anywhere either. not on CNN, drudge, or Gallup, or USA Today.
"Wouldn't it be tragic, and almost a death sentence for the US, if, in the space of sixteen years, a rapist/draft dodger is/was President, and four years later a pacifist/traitor is elected?""
my personal belief is that the US has been in moral decline since the early 1960s. Yes it would be a death sentence for the US but would also refelct who we have become as a country. in the end we get the leaders we deserve. This election will help determine if Clinton was a fluke or not.
I am sure in the last centuries of the Roman Empire, the emperors and Senate got more and more corrupt.
I cant remember who sid it but someone political philospher said a democracy could never last longer than 250 years because the public would learn it could vote itself an ever larger share of the national treasury.
Look, OhGeorgia, I don't know you, you're new here, and I've been here since forever. Let me tell you...you've nailed the trouble we find ourselves in. Soros' sponsored illegal voter registrations, the illegal absentee ballots gathered by his 527 volunteers and union people may have done us in already. It's hard facing the reality of it...but maybe there's still time to wake people up. I hope so.
It's almost not important whether "Bush lost" or not. The media and pundits are all saying he lost so that's what people will hear for a week or so. That kind of thing builds on itself.
I agree. His bounce will be short lived. Especially after Bush has a few days to characterize the substance of the debate. Bush does need a strong showing this Friday night to avoid another weekend like this one. We must pray, work hard, and not grow tired or weary.
I agree. This nation is hanging on by its fingernails. We may have reached critical mass among people without convictions, or the brain to determine their own opinions. If Kerry wins, it's going to be a wild ride into the abyss.
Wow. Past tense already.
Is this even real?
Nothing on gallop or CNN's website?
couldnt have said it better
*sigh*... Here we go again...
You are so right. I've been saying that for a couple of days now.
When a president in these very dangerous times is picked because of his debating skills and ability to lie............it is OVER!!!
The people are too ignorant to live.
CNN is still tauting Newsweak. Troll alert. After the debate, Bush still had a 10-pt lead.
It really is debatable as to whether or not polls should setup the sample to have percentages based on party affiliation. Some say it is more accurate and some say it isn't. I guess it really depends on who is doing the polling.
Or that nutcase, Mckinney..
I hope if Edwards brings up Haliburton that Cheney slams him over that and sets the recors straight with facts.
If Cheney does well on Tues. it might help shift momentum back to the GOP. Then if Mr Bush does well on the 8th then some of the funk we are feeling this weekend may be gone a week from now at this time.
Please keep good news to a minimum. It doesn't fit with the end of the world scenario...
You mean to tell me only 1% of the people are undecided. I do not believe it.
