If this is a legit with no touch up, I'd say Kerry will atleast have to explain what it was. This is pretty darning (no swearing) stuff.
Video from boston.com indicates it is a piece of paper.
Dubya will run with this and hit hard. How can anyone trust someone who uses cheat sheets.
Seeing the video again, he clearly is unfolding something. At 1:59 of the WashPost video you can clearly see something white that flashes just above his wrist.
This is only a diversion to distract our attention away from that transmitter planted in his nose. The orange hue Kerry was experiencing earlier was due to an allergic reaction to that thing.
And that's the bottom line!
Here's something else I would like to explore. Notice that the lectern has a lip that hides what is on top of it from the side. I would like to know if that lip was requested by one of the teams and if so, WHICH team requested it.
Before you laugh, remember, even the height (front (52") and back(48")) of the lecterns were in the rules.
A piece of paper? Aha! Kerry wielded the same weapon that Poor timid Hillary Clinton was once assaulted with during a debate.
I noticed him taking out his note card while watching the debate. I didn't think anything of it. I did not know it was against the rules.
There is no doubt he had note card. I saw it.

Did you see it on tv? It sounded like you were there (at the debate).
But afterwards the Democrats said they didn't actually sign the MOU so therefore it was void.
If you have photoshop, save pic 16 and 17. Zoom in once, and then adjust brightness and contrast up.
That ain't no pen!!!!!
"I heard they were both allowed to have pen and paper for note taking."
Yes...but it was to be provided to them by the deabate committee at their podiums. They were not allowed to bring anyithing with them.
This probably explains why Kerry had all of his talking points at his disposal. He cheated.
Did you see Kerry blowing his nose during the debate? I didn't.
Clear as day!
It looked like a folded piece of paper to me...about th esize of a large index card.
No, I wish I was there but I saw it on TV. I tend to notice little things. Just habit.
John
next debate ....search the mo-fo , before he steps out on stage.
"YOU ALLOWED KERRY TO CHEAT BY BRINGING HIS OWN NOTES?"
This 'question' only makes sense if Lehrer knew Kerry pulled something out. Nobody noticed Thursday night. Your comments are off base.
Don't worry too much. After all, we know there were no TRUE FACTS on those cards!
