After last nights debate, President Bush was campaigning in Allentown Pennsylvania and later in Manchester N.H. and pointed out the many contradicting and false statements that passed through the heavily lipstick covered lips of his opponent in last nights debate
ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO SANITY ISLAN
The debate, well, it was obvious that the questions were meant to attack our wonderful President! Kerry seemed a little too prepared and on script to have not known what the questions were.
Not sure where to post this. And I don't want to create a needless vanity, but Jeb Bush will be our President in 2008.
The job he's done in FL (before the hurricanes) was unprecedented. Low tax, high volume, let's go get em' economy.
Since the hurricanes, he has been EVERYWHERE! He knows the needs of the victims, somehow shows up on their doorsteps, and delivers the goods (in English and Spanish).
He's been the best Governor the world has ever seen in the past year. It's a shame that we have term limits. That said, our Floridian's loss will be the country's gain.
Jeb will make a fantastic President, and he's proven it over and over again.
I love W, but Jeb will be even better.
.
I agree
(On other matter - freepmailed about - thank you to all).
Of course he blew him away in substance! I just hope the "undecideds" and others can see thru Kerry's slickness to the passion and substance the Pres. showed. I thought the Pres.' 'hesitation' seemed like he was uncertain at times, tho I KNOW he was just gathering his thoughts. He also needs to work on his "annoyed/pissed off" face so it's not quite so lemon-sucking-like.
I'm sure you've read/heard that even tho people thought Kerry "won" the debate, of the undecideds who make a decision based on the debate, 10% said Kerry and 12% Bush.
I think/hope he'll do a lot better next week in the town hall format, when he can just talk to "people".
That's it for pics, Post any you might find
Another debate thought--the President's closing statement was wonderful, compelling, coherent, clear, etc. Hopefully people will take that last impression away with them.
Kerry flip-flopped and contradicted himself so much even during the debate he should be sunk.
Hello down under!
We're getting our first taste of fall here, and I think you're having spring, right?
I love this man, our president!! I am so grateful for his leadership! I love to see him at his best, in with the rest of us. He's so genuine! Thanks for posting these pictures!
This is the Dubya I like to see. I think, last night, either he just didn't like being in the same room with K or maybe Lehrer got under his skin. Dubya did get stronger as the evening went on and, give 'em one more hour, K would have been saying, "Me, too, Mr. President. Gosh, multilateral talks are the way to go. Blablabla."
K is nothing but an act. W is the real deal.
Doesn't campaign finance laws restrict us to contribute to his campaign at this late date? I believe they can only accept monies for the National Republican Committee, at least that is what the pesty and almost daily RNC callers are saying.
I sent a campaign contribution to the President in August, directly to the White House. After about 30 days, it was returned to me with a message that the White House could not accept mail. A well-connected individual shared with me an address in suburban VA which would accept my check directly. I sent another. Today, returning from work, was a letter addressed for me, on the President's letterhead:
Sept 24
Dear Mr. _________
Thank you for your generous gift to the Bush-Cheney '04 effort. It means a lot to Laura and me to have your support as a member of our 2004 reelection team.
.....
Thanks again for your financial support. I am honored to serve as your President.
Sincerely,
George W. Bush (signed)
(What a GIFT to receive a letter such as this the day after the first debate!)
Thanks Mike....and I agree...I pray, PRAY that the US voter sees through Kerry's *style* and votes for substance.....I was very nervous last night...Bush is not a debater..
Just finished listening to C-Span's re-play of the President's speech today in New Hampshire -- AWESOME!!!
My thoughts on the debate last night mirror those of Hugh Hewitt:
EXCERPT
Overall: Bush gets a big win, by hitting all his messages over and over again. He wins on substance. Biggest mistake by Kerry: "The Global Test." Sorry, the American voters aren't interested in passing any global tests. Bush stresses steadfastness and resolve. Kerry firmed up the hard-left vote, but you can't win on this.
Lehrer started poorly, but came on strong.
UPDATE: The FoxNews panel agrees: "Global Test" is the takeaway. On substance, Kerry wants appeasement of North Korea and Iran, globalization of conflict resolution, and a summit. Bush wants to take the war to the terrorists. Kerry wants meetings.
Bill Kristol thinks Kerry supporters are heartened. I agree. But so are Bush supporters. Kristol: "The core of the Bush claim is 9/11, and the world changed, and the Democrats want to go back to 9/10."
The message is simple, says Barnes: Your children will be safer. Fred's right. Bush knew what he had to do which is speak the truth about the war and the nature of the struggle.
Spinning is underway everywhere, but tomorrow and for 30+ days I'll be playing the global test clip, because it was the window into Kerry's soul, and Bush immediately rejected it because Bush wants nothing of it. As I wrote below: Game, set, match.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU VISIT HUGH'S SITE EVERY DAY FOR THE NEXT 31 DAYS -- HE WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED AND UPBEAT!!!
I want to get my husband a shirt like the one he's wearing in pic #3. The Pres looks great in that shirt. ;-)
MJY1288 (KERRY SAYS WE MUST PASS A GLOBAL TEST IN ORDER TO DEFEND OURSELVES)....MJY's tagline shows how much more ignorant this statement looks written rather than spoken, if that's possible.
sKerry doesn't know his arse from a spider hole in the ground!
You still can donate .. the Presidential Campaign just can't use the money .. however they can loan money to other campaigns
Remember folks .. we also need to win some senate seats in Nov
Tomorrow morning...... HERE.........President Bush........Mr OHIO, Eric and me......on the stage.......TOGETHER..........HERE!!!!!!!
