Correct me if I am wrong, but this has been haunting me all night. I have not gone back and looked at the debate transcripts, but I was taken back last night while watching the debate (on Fox News mind you) when I thought I heard Kerry say something to the effect that we should've, when we invaded Iraq, guarded the nuclear reactors there. Did I miss something? I thought Iraq didn't have nuclear capabilities. Was this a major gaffe or am I out in left field?
Oh, and the by the way, Kerry's a turd.
Can someone post link(s) to debate transcripts so I can settle my mind?
Yeah, you heard right.
He is the bacteria that lives on a turd.
I heard something on that order as well. I was only listening on the radio, but I thought he said "nuclear sites."
Nam Vet
Yep,
I caught that, Kerry actually said it TWICE!! I was surprised Pres Bush didn't jump on that, not on Rush either...
I stand corrected.
I heard that, too.

Didn't Kerry also say what a mistake it was not to turn Iraq over to the UN after we took Baghdad? Oh, Kerry is the vomit of the bacteria on the turd.
I head this and many other gaffes by Kerry that Bush should have pounced on.
I remember him saying it twice also.
Thanks, Snooker, I found it. Here it is:
Kerry: "There's a sense of American occupation. The only building that was guarded when the troops when into Baghdad was the oil ministry. We didn't guard the nuclear facilities.
We didn't guard the foreign office, where you might have found information about weapons of mass destruction. We didn't guard the borders."
What does everyone else think about this?
You most certainly heard correctly. My husband and I said the exact same thing. Kerry said it twice (I think). We both were shocked. Since we watched it on Tivo - didn't want to miss a single thing and wanted to be able to pause for discussion - we stopped it right there and tried to figure out what he meant. Iraq didn't have a nuke reactor. So, was he (1) flat out lying to scare people less educated, (2) unaware due to his absence from the Senate for the better part of a whole year, or (3) referring to the US not guarding our own US reactors well enough in the effort for homeland security. What do you think?
I caught it too but what I can't figure out is why it's not being shouted from the roof tops.
