But what's the excuse for Kerry's makeup job? Yikes! lipstick on a horse.

It's a smallish point, but every little bit helps. Please send this observation to people who can influence things.

Thanks. I got the memo. I'll take care of it.

Is this what you concentrated on the entire debate? His crooked tie? Are you one of those "everything-has-to-be-in-it's-proper-place" female? Or are you gay?

The depths to which Kerry will sink.....continue to amaze.... Actually, it was a very clever maneuver. I give the Kerry people kudos for coming up with it, if it was indeed intentional.
Now it is up to our side to respond.

Laz, I noticed the tie as well. That, and his tendency to slump over the podium did not create the best of impressions. He also looked more tired than I've ever seen him. I hope his busy schedule isn't wearing him down physically.
But then again, I heard that today in PA he looked well-rested and perky.

I also noticed that Kerry ate an onion & garlic sandwich and chased it with skunky German beer, thus making Bush's eyes water. Pass it on.
Okay...maybe he didn't do it on purpose, but hey...

It may have been askew, but it was blue, the standard business color this year.
Red ties are out. Of course, Kerry wore a red tie.
I think Bush should eschew the coat and tie next Friday, roll up his sleeves and talk with the folks. He's more relaxed and does a better job in "business casual."

Laz, I noticed the tie as well.Thanks. And to those who did not notice it consciously, I'm sure it was an unconscious factor in the somewhat poor reviews of GW's performance.
Psychology is subtle, and unconscious effects are the most insidious. We must be ever-vigilant.
