"The President's reaction IMO came across as "Aw geez - another lie...." "

That's what I thought when I saw the video....but watching the debate...when kerry was giving his campaign speech...again......all I could think of was...I see your mouth moving...but all I hear is blah, ba-blah, ba-blah...

You know on the other hand Bush is right! He doesn't care if he looks not likable he tells it like it is and he looks angry how he feels and he doesn't promise

we will bring troops home - we will win iraq war
we will have balanced budget - we will have trillions of spending and no tax hikes
I will kill terrorists - but we need to see what OBL wants
I will not listen to other leaders - but we need to pass global test
I support the troops - but they were cutting heads..

I love it!! i listened without sound and comment and Bush was reacting to all the BS kerry was spouting. I had the same expression myself. it's hard to sit and listening to some idiot droning on and one without rolling your eyes on occasion. Bush reacted like a NORMAL HUMAN BEING.

Hard for the President to NOT show contempt as Kerry launched salvo after salvo of pure unadulturated bullsh*t as though it were gospel.

The debate however DID provide Team Bush with even MORE fresh material of Kerry's flip-floppin. In fact, the President may even use the term, "Flip-Flop" in subsequent debates. I'd like to see the Kerry 'Reaction Shot' then, heh-heh...

It looked like Bush was literally clamping his lips together to keep his mouth shut.

Forget Bush's reaction shots! You should have seen my face when Lurch stuck in the comment on "not mistaking the war for the warrior" in an unpopular war. GRRRRR!!

(urge to kill-receeding.)

Fine, if they want to break the rules then imagine this commercial:Clip of the debate

JIM LEHRER: "New question, Senator Kerry. Two minutes. You've repeatedly accused President Bush, not here tonight but elsewhere before, of not telling the truth about Iraq. Essentially, of lying to the American people about Iraq. Give us some examples of what you consider to be his not telling the truth." SEN. KERRY: "WELL, I'VE NEVER, EVER USED THE HARSHEST WORD AS YOU JUST DID."

Clip of Kerry in New Hampshire saying:
BUT IN DECEMBER 2003, KERRY TOLD NEW HAMPSHIRE EDITORIAL BOARD BUSH "LIED" ABOUT REASON FOR GOING TO WAR IN IRAQ

Clip of Kerry in SEPTEMBER 2003, KERRY SAID BUSH ADMINISTRATION "LIED" AND "MISLED."

End in the communist or maxist quote (I don't remember it verbatim) If you repeat a lie long enough people will eventually believe it.
Kerry wants you to believe his lies.

Was it Frank Luntz that said that Kerry looks like the
Tree that threw apples at Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz ??

(would love a cartoon with that)

"Will be viewed as a cheap shot."

It is and again avoids the issues.

It's petty and small minded.

Bush could have had a bit more substance last night. IMO

This is my point exactly. I fault the debate advisors. I wonder how much time our President had to actually prepare. I saw the local news pictures showing him comforting the hurricane victims. We, Floridians, know why he was tired. The RNC should be on top of this. Let's see how many times we hear this mentioned.

RE: Faces of Frustration....

Of course our president is frustrated. Frustrated that he has to suffer the ignorant rantings of a moron. The look on President Bush's face says,

"Sheesh. Kerry is soooo full of horsesh*t. I cannot believe this guy can actually be a candidate for president. And after this, I'll be up all night trying to fight the war against the murderers who would destroy America if they could - and Kerry thinks we oughta suck up to 'em. Yeah. I'm frustrated."

GOOD! I love this!

It means the Kerry camp knows they have lost the first debate if they cannot make ads promoting their man.

I watched it, it doesn't hurt Bush at all but the music really makes me questions the Dims ability to make a quick decision.

LOLOLOL.... I just watched that. I thought it was hillarious. I mean, I think that's the way a lot of people react when Kerry talks. I thought it was great!

LOL.... quite a catchy tune.. huh? Sounds like some wanna be music artist being supported by federal dollars composed the piece on his Casio keyboard.

Neither film footage nor video footage nor any audio excerpts from the debates may be used publicly by either candidate's campaign through any means, including but not limited to, radio, television, internet, or videotapes, whether broadcast or distributed in any other manner.

Unfortunately, the understanding extends to the "campaign", NOT to the "party". This was easily forseable.
