Kerry can lie all he wants CHRISSEY WALLACE You Women. Pres. Bush takes his time when he talks that is his way. Now the idiot liar Carl Cammron.

As I said in an earlier post, it is clear that Kerry had the questions ahead of timeThat is just bullshit. What's the matter with you people? Bush turns in a clunker performance, and you want to come up with a stupid conspiracy!
Let's do better next time, but please, people, let's not turn into kooks.

Oh Barnra Streisand! Asz usual, your political "sense" is nill.
Rudy Giulliani doesn't think the president did badly, most of the panel on FOX didn't think he did either, but you,YOU,who are rather young, have less than no political experience, and havedn't seen more than what ... two presidential debates as an adult,YOU think that the president got "his Ass whipped"?
To: teletech
Put scare quotes around "handle" and you got it. If Kerry were President, when push comes to shove (and it will), North Korea will get everything it wants, including Seattle.

It's unfortunate that when we are of one mind on a subject it is bad for our side.
Your comments are right on target.
It is unfortunate when people confuse relentlessly negative critical comments as intellectual sophistication. There is this strange fascination with a certain segment of Freepers. They seem to think if they are playing devils advocate ALL the time and making constantly critical comments about their own side, it makes them seem thoughtful and intelligent. Maybe we should have a term for this? Call it "McCainism" A metal defect that requires the victim to constantly critize their own side while NEVER pointing out where the other side blew it. Mccainism does not make you look smart. See REAL intelligence would be to provide some serious BALANCED review not this hysterical "OH WE LOST! IT IS ALL OVER" chicken little screech time after time, post after post.
Mark my words Boy's and Girls, John Kerry just lost the election tonight. Since most who suffer from McCainism seem to be lawyers, I will put it to you in terms you might understand. John Kerry may, or may not, have won the formal debate but he didn't win the Jury. And you people always forget this one fact. The JURY (i.e. The American people), not the Debate coaches decides the election.
John Kerry lost the election tonight people. You heard it here first.

I share your concern. Kerry was inconsistent in his answers to a few questions, but Lehrer didn't call him on it and nor did GWB; I suspect many viewers probably didn't notice.
I know a lot of Freepers bemoaned the fact that Lehrer was moderating. However, I think that he was fair to the President and that his questions were good. You couldn't expect questions for this "foreign policy" debate to be easy or watered down, especially with all that is happening in Iraq. I think Bush missed some opportunities allowed by Lehrer's questions and Kerry's responses.

I sure hope that you are right. :-) We shall see. :)

Scarbourgh seems to have a major chip on his shoulders concerning Republicans.
I believe the President was so frustrated with the constant lying from Kerry and misrepresenting the President's administration's efforts on the WOT.

I was listening to the debate on the way back from classes.
Bush was winning.
When I got home and put CSPAN on, with them both side by side, Kerry was definitely in charge. Bush looked fidgety and kept picking up the EMPTY GLASS TO DRINK WATER!!!
Bush had the truth on his side but the spin, I fear, will all go Kerry's way.

The insiders are listening to the words while we were looking at the two men.
The insiders KNOW that Kerry had nothing to say of any substance and what he did say was dreadful for America.

luckily, the MSM has been knocked down a peg or two by the Dan Rather incident. their influence is a bit less then it was just a few weeks ago.

DRAW. Nobody changed their minds tonight. Not sure about Kerry's base: he's been nailed down once again on his prosecution of the Iraq war which won't sit well with 1/2 his base.

Kerry said a lot of dumb things tonight, of course the MSM will not talk about them. Kerry came across weak on defending the US without the simon says from the UN, that is hugh. No one has picked up on it yet but I sure did. Bush nailed him on the ICC, missile defense and all Kerry could talk about was bringing in more allies which anyone with a half a brain knows is impossible.
