Debate over Lehrer winks at Kerry and shakes his hand. Did he shake the President's?

Laura holding hands with Theresa, Skerry pulls her away, what a moron.

Kerry: "I visited the KGB under Treblinka Square.

Maybe Kerry was admitting to meeting with the KGB..
but NOT for the reason he tries to claim now...

However, Kerry has absolutely NO plans laid out tonight

Apparently he is planning on invading Russia.

At least that's what I got out of it.

Terazza was drunk or high. She almost fell over. Kerry jerked her around like a man drags a drunk wife.

"Too repetitive. Too mundane. He could have killed Kerry five times (by my count) and let the opportunity pass."

The things he did are the things he always did - stay on his message, repeat it as necessary.

Those are the things all his democrat debating opponents (who said they lost to him) are his most effective debating techniques. He stays on message.

GWB has been outstanding since the time he complimented Kerry.

Since, then Kerry has added nothing meaningful to the dialogue a

AGREED!!!

Oh crap. Kerry just gave a zinger to Bush on the enemy attacking us. Kerry is winning by FAR.

Right, because the most important thing about a presidential debate is who makes more *zingers*...

Awesome summation. The President on message. He needed to sound like this twenty minutes into the debate.

W's debate coaches need to be merciless when they review tonight's tapes with him. He can and will do better. The week leading up to the next debate is going to be one giant media hatchet job and push poll extravaganza, so fasten your seat belts and keep the faith, folks.

We WILL prevail.

Was it just me or did Ter-ay-za look drunk? She looked like she needed help to stagger around the stage.

Tough debate. My guess is he had so damn many facts running through his head he had a had time keeping it straight. He knows more than he is at liberty to say - typical problem of the sitting President. Kerry was smooth. No argument there. Very difficult. We'll see. It ain't over yet.

Do you not understand that FREEDOM and HOPE are Lynchpin to this 80 year war we are in?

Without hope it is lost

The Pres has a long term vision that includes HOPE for those less fortunate than us

You are correct. Unfortunately Bush doesn't have a great memory and can't recite a lot of facts and as a result isn't a good debater. Americans already knew that.

Bush wins on content like he did in 2000. No gaffes. Bush won the debate but didn't knock him out.
