Thread 1 - Pre-Debate discussion
I disagree. Kerry is throwing eight things ast Bush in every answer. that is unnerving to Bush but Kerry comes across as scattered.
Bush did very well on North Korea and Sudan, but he got creamed on Iraq.
Tradesports now has Bush Futures +0.6, Kerry Futures -1.7.
I had expected Kerry to win on Yale Debating Society points, but this isn't the Yale Debating Society. Relax!
I think Bush does better when he's leaning forward on the podium, looking at the camera and being forthright on where he stands.
I know many others that agree.
Is it just me, or are there a lot of trolls commenting here tonight?
My scorecard 10-5 Bush.
You've exposed yourself as a partisan democrat moron. If you have specific observations and facts, state them, otherwise, STFU.
President Bush is wiping the floor with Kerry and is stating his consistent plainly. They make sense. Kerry hasn't once mentioned anything he did in the Senate for 20 years to support his case that he should be President. That alone disqualifies him to be President.
No challenger can become President without stating credentials and accomplishments that PROVE he is up to the job.
sounds like kerry wants to send troops to north korea and africa \\ thats all he is talking about tonight''we should have picked those words for our "drink, drink, drink" signal
Kerry is Thrusting BiLateral Talks from 1952 Armistice.
Bush says Bi-lateral will unravel the 5-party talks.
We've already sanctioned Iran, we can't sanction what we've sanctioned.
Kerry is back to sanctions on Iran -- not answering the question right away.
Kerry says we can't help Africa because we're over-extended in Iraq. And he mentioned the word "Draft" -- hmmmm. Will Bush catch this?
Nope, he missed it. Aaaarrrgghhh.
That must be one creepy iguana if it reminds you of Kerry. ;)
Thanks, Chris, for this one hopeful post ...
This debate sickens me, maybe because I care so much.
"I know that you're young,so just shut off the debatwe, get off this thread, and go szikt in a corfner ans suck your thumb."
"girly-men"
In the grand scheme of things, we all want President Bush to win. (Most of us do!)
I recall the last debates in 2000 when people said Gore won the first one. As it turned out, he lost it. Where did he lose it? In the living rooms all across America.
John Kerry is overkilling on his perceived "facts" and "statements". For the average person, they are not political junkies.
To many folks, John Kerry will come across as a pompous arrogant jackass who votes with the wind when Beavis or Butthead tells him to.
That's just my opinion.
Kerry stated he is going to double the Special Forces. And how is he going to do this? We are having trouble maintaining the number we have now, and it takes years to train just one SF. There simply is no way we can do what Kerry stated.
LOLOLOL
CHARACTER
People said the same thing about the 2000 debates.
Bush should refute this idiot on every point!
