Bush: We've already sanctioned Iran. My opponent wants to sanction Iran. We can't sanction them any more.

You know, my husband is really making me depressed. He is saying Bush is losing this debate.

I left the family room where the TV is because I could not handle it anymore. Your husband has a point.
But then I also thought that Kerry had won the debate 30 years ago against John O'Neill when other people at FR thought that Kerry had lost it. I guess it's a matter of perception.

Thanks Doc!!

No problem; I thought it an appropriate quote given Kerry's smarmy little smile and condescending demeanor.

Now Ketchup Boy wants to surrender South Korea to Krazy Kim. Oh yeah, it didn't take only 3 years for NK to create "4-5" nukes; they created the first couple under Clinton's watch with the "agreement" reached by the Peanut Farmer.

There are millions of Americans who (wrongfully) think Bush is shallow, dumb, airhead, an idiot.

I don't think Bush has changed a single mind.

There are countless millions who belive the Dem lies that Bush lied time and again...

Not only did Bush not change any minds, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that he's added millions more to the ranks by NOT CHALLENGING SKUMBAG SKERRY.

What debate are you watching? Kerry is coming across as a pompous ass. This race is not about who is the best speaker but who is the best leader. Kerry has no leadership qualities at all and it shows.

Thanks for tossing in some common sense.

Did you hear when Kerry caught Bush in the Saddam did not attack us on 9/11 moment?

What was Bush's response....."of course I know OBL attacked us."

THAT was his response? THAT!!!!!!!!!!

THAT WAS INCREDIBLY WEAK. THAT ONE LINE HAS COST US MANY VOTES TONIGHT.

I wish that the President's stage presence had been better tonight. He lost some ground, IMO.

I agree, unfortunately. I'm watching on CSpan with the split screen, and GWB looks too fidgety and frustrated.

On the other hand, Kerry is slinging so much bullsh*t that it's hard to know where to start a defense.

Please Lord, give the President your wisdom to hit it out of the park in these last 25 mins.

Agree. President Bush must stand straighter. He is leaning on the podium which is not a commanding position for any debate. Keep praying everyone...that is the best we can give President Bush.

Been watching for an hour.

Bush is like Reagen in that first debate. He sounds beleaguered, and his plaintive tone is unpresidential.

He is on the defensive, and is the LOSER in the debate. He invokes the extra reburral when he has lost the point, and doesn't know enough to let it go when he has little more to say.

I went in thinking Bush would be the powerful victor. but Kerry owns Bush in this debate.

I hope no intelligent undecided voters are watching!

"No he's not. Forget about what they're saying. Kerry's attitude and manner are better, and on TV that,
unfortunately, is the key."

You are NOT following what is being said.
Bush is NOT relying on the UN, Kerry is.
Bush IS killing him!
Kerry can't even keep up with the right question!

i am not biased and haven't heard anything that makes me believe the president is at a loss. i suggesat you look at the overnite stock market trading to see how he is doing. putting money on the line rather than your biases is more meaningful. the market is currently flat--it's a tie!

Is it just me, or does it seem that Lehrer is liberally biased? And also, sKerry seems to be doing nothing but criticizing Bush. Why doesn't sKerry promote his own agenda? Because sKerry has no agenda!

Bush should ask Kerry...."Since you missed 70% of your Senate Votes, how do you expect to accompolish anything as President?"
