"OK...I am here! I urge everyone to take some time for a prayer for President Bush, as he is going to be facing evil in all its forms. I am praying that he is calm, well-spoken, quick-witted, and surrounded by angels of protection. May God guide his words and confuse and confound his enemies. Amen."

and AMEN.

Yeah, I'd love to see Kerry burn his debate time trying to besmerch Bush's ANG service. He already wasted two weeks of precious and dwindling campaign time on the Guard issue; he might as well blow another two hours.

Yes, we heard. Kerry is afraid he'll get distracted by the lights, according to his handlers.

The guy wants to be president of the United States of America and is afraid he'll be distracted by some lights. Unfit For Command was the right name for that book!

Even as a teen I used to hurl all sorts of objects at the TV during Houston Oiler games (especially against Pittsburgh), not that anybody remembers the Oilers.

David Gregory told Chris Matthews "I think John Kerry has two fundamental problems. One is, that people like Bush better than him, the other is that people don't believe he stands for anything and they don't see him as a commander-in-chief. He's got to address those."....

Anybody catch the clip at the end of FoxNews where they showed Jon Stewart responding to clips of Kerry being interviewed by Diane Sawyer.

Even Stewart was turned off by Kerry's answers, it was a funny clip, he looked exasperated each time Kerry would give one of his "non-answers" to Sawyer.

Amen.

Jim Lehrer is going to try to trip him up. This is going to be about Jim Lehrer, and that really strange look he has when he's being that uniquely PBS kind of imperious.

The reason the debates have become less relevant, is that they are increasingly all about the aggrandizement of the superstar media inquisitors. Unfortunately.

Luckily, John Kerry is a desperate thin-skinned poseur who will try to force the issue and end up looking like the gigolo he is.

And, yes, as many here have predicted ... he will be the triumphant comeback kid in the media script tomorrow. Starting with that go-to ghoul, spitter Don Imus.

If Kerry breaks the rules over and over tonight then Bush should refuse to the other debates
