No.

It even more than a "clue" as to how Kerry would approach a world crisis (since, for his campaign, EVERYTHING will depend on this debate: if Kerry fails, he loses!) ...

So, how does Kerry prepare for earth-shaking events?

He gets a manicure!

How do you and I prepare for earthshaking events? Or even minor events like Christmas, cross-country travel, or a two-week vacation?

Do "we" get a manicure instead of preparing or helping otehrs whoa re late or stresssed?

Please remember that in the 1980 debate CBS, with Rather and Cronkite, ABC with Peter and NBC with Tom all declared that Carter had clearly won the debate. Brokaw had debate experts saying that it was very clear that Carter had bested Reagan.

ABC even reported that their own poll showing Reagan a big winner was not accurate.

But the debate held just 10 days before the election shifted Regan from a dead heat to a huge electoral college victory.

The media was calling that election a tie when Jimmy Carter steped to the microphone in plains Georgia to conceed to Ronald Reagan.

If media opinions and bias really counted.. Jimmmy Carter would have defeated Ronald Reagan in 1980.

I urge everyone to have confidance in the American Voters. Today I learned that the Democrats own polls show Bush ahead here in Ross County, Ohio by a margin of 2 to 1. Clinton won Ross County twice. Now the Democrats own polling is showing this county to be Bush Country.

My understanding is that each campaign get a third of the tickets, with the remaining third going to the mysterious undecided voters. I have absolutely no idea how they were chosen.

Perhaps when Kerry says something stupid, Bush can say perhaps Kerry heard it while getting his manicure.

Wouldn't want to aleinate the orange manicured voting block.

When our President is through with kerry tonight, kerry will think that he has been through a WWE "Cage Match"... not a debate!

Wow. Pretty 'fair and balanced' panel on with Chrissie tonight, huh? Just switched to the Yankee game.

"In the 2000 election I really did not know who George W Bush was.
I watched all 3 debates.
No "talking heads", no "media", nothing but the 3 debates.
That's when George W. Bush won my vote as an Independent.
And this time he has it again, before the debates.
Because I know he has America's interests at heart"

Same here for my hubby and me. I had no idea about anything political really. Since 2000 I've done nothing but research political stuff. I was so blind!
LOL we are watching it on CNN too.

So, for example, I'm "pinging" you to this reply in this thread, which I began by replying to Howlin.

So her name automatically appears in the [To:] box, but yours must be manually typed in.

DRINKING RULES (one version ...)

One sip of your beverage of choice anytime you hear Bush or Kerry say:

"Wrong"
"Weak"
"Fantasy World"
"nuclear" (or "nucular")
"Allies"
"Secret"
The name of any foreign leader

Finish your drink (chug it) if:

Kerry says "Vietnam" or any word in French
Bush says "Orange" in any context
Either candidate goes over his allotted time and the little light on his podium starts flashing
