To me, this idiotic platitude is the equivalent of saying "Kiddie porn should be legal."

Then I will ask you the same question that I have asked others that support Government mandated morality.
What value is forced morality? Isn't heaven a reward for making the right choice and living by God's morality and hell a punishment not making the right choice? If the government forced morality and "right" choices to be made, what value would the rewards or punishments hold?
Do you honestly believe that the government has the right to take away the "free will" that was given to man as a gift from God?
How else does the Government enforce their laws, if not with the barrell of a gun?
