VotePair.org (Your Chance To Screw Up 'Rat Plans For Massive Voter Fraud! PLEASE READ!)
PoliPundit.com ^ | 9/30/04 | PoliPundit

They’re at it again. Liberals have created a web site, VotePair.org , to encourage Nader voters to swap their votes with Kerry voters. This is definitely unethical and probably illegal.

So what can you do about this latest Democrat dirty trick? You could simply go to VotePair.org and sign up as a Nader voter. You don’t even have to use your real name, state and e-mail. You could, for instance, pretend to be a Nader voter in a swing state (FL, OH, WI, MO, MN, OR, NM, IA, PA, MI.) If you do sign up as a Nader voter, you’ll get an e-mail from your vote-trading partner in a couple of weeks. Play along and enjoy!

If a few thousand people do this, that would wreck VotePair . Vote traders wouldn’t know if they were trading with a real Nader voter, or just throwing their vote away.

If you guys think that even ONE Kerry voter is going to actually switch his vote, I would like to have some of what you are smoking. It is merely designed to steal Nader votes.

I don't get it.

I sign up and say I'm a Nader voter.

Then a Kerry voter emails me and tells me if I vote for Kerry, he/she will vote for Nader?

Yeah, right!

Are Nader voters that stupid!?
Those Kerry voters won't vote Nader!!! They may say they will but they'll vote Kerry.

This just sounds so stupid...

I've got six e-mail accounts and the next few days off, this should be fun.

A.) Irrelevant. Flooding them with bogus sign-ups for "swaps" still bollixes their plans for mass voter fraud, whether their overtures to the disenfranchised Naderites are legitimate or otherwise.

B.) I'm not "smoking" anything, thank you. You have mistaken me, apparently, for the late Bob Marley. :)

Well... inasmuch as they're Nader voters to begin with... :)

Agreed. Do we really want to encourage voter fraud of any kind? I'm sure I do not.

I also agree, we shouldn't be invovlved in any sort of voter fraud, even if we don't intend to commit fraud. Besides, people who would do this are liars and cheaters by definition, so I bet they don't intend to change their votes anyway.

Good point. I think I will sign up. I just don't think people should get all excited about the prospect of any Kerry supporter actually voting for Nader.

Exactly - it will at least worry and discourage them - why should we - courtesy of the MSM - be the only ones to worry etc.?

The way it is currently heading, Kerry doesn't have all that many safe states.

I just sent them a nice e-mail, it went like this,

Hey why don't you let the Nader voters think for themselves. You liberals have no shame. It makes me sick to see stuff like this. GET A LIFE!!! Proud Republican for BUSH 04

Same question that went a-begging to another poster, previously: how, precisely, is preventing open, transparent voter fraud on the 'Rats part the same thing as committing voter fraud, pray...?

Sorry... but: this objection simply doesn't make sense, really.

As a former 32 year dimocrat. Take my advice. You must fight fire with fire when it comes to the dems, or you just might end up with Kerry as president. It's your choice. Choose well.

I don't understand your point.

You think participating in the same type of "fraud" we decry is ok? That is because....?

You question how they can figure out who is the "true" Kerry/Nader worshipper and who is the "FR",,and since there is no answer you think you are making a point?

What point is that exactly? It's cool to be fraudulent and sneaky while calling the other side fraudulent and sneaky,,,

smacks of hypocrisy,,and your post seems to echo sKerry's logic of "it depends on the outcome." I guess as long as you think it's possible to confuse the people on this site (which even if it does happen isn't going to be known),,,then it's worth being sneaky and fraudulent?? Well, WE'LL SHOW THEM HOW TO PERPETRATE FRAUD, WON'T WE?

You're kidding, right? And, the difference between your type of thinking and the dumb DU type of thinking is.....?

Sorry, call me disappointed. I don't respect that kind of thinking. So, I will have to respectfully disagree with you.

I don't understand your point.

Evidently, as you failed to address the question(s) raised.

You question how they can figure out who is the "true" Kerry/Nader worshipper and who is the "FR",,and since there is no answer you think you are making a point?

If I understand that hodgepodge correctly: yes, obviously. The concern you originally adanced was (your own exact words): "Seems to me that any member from the website or any of the DU sites can very easily read this thread and well,,I know they aren't that smart but,,,"

That concern was effectively remedied. It (quite obviously) does not matter whether they see this thread or not. The only way they could effectively block our efforts would be to cease their bogus vote-swapping operations altogether. If this remains in any way unclear to you, I'll happily attempt to explain it once again. :)

You're kidding, right? And, the difference between your type of thinking and the dumb DU type of thinking is.....?

Either you're reasing, or else simply being purposely obdurate. PREVENTING voter fraud is, patently, not the same thing as COMMITTING voter fraud. Please.

Sorry, call me disappointed. I don't respect that kind of thinking. So, I will have to respectfully disagree with you.

Be as disappointed as you like, for whatever reasons best please you. They are, in this instance, demonstrably fallacious ones... but: that's your perogative, certainly.

Your condescending tone is not lost,,congratulations.

You can be as sneaky and fraudulent as you want and misrepresent yourself in whatever way suits you.

Winning at "any cost" is not a value I share. I associate that type of thinking with the 'RATS. I am sure there are a ton of DEM "get out the vote" sites you may want to visit and misrepresent yourself on.

I don't even see the clever value here. But hey, I'm just a pretty simple Texan who doesn't use words like "obdurant." I am soooooo grateful to have an intellectual such as yourself put me in my place because I happen to disagree. You are soooo superior.
