Arabic TV channel al-Jazeera aired new video footage of British hostage Ken Bigley caged and chained, pleading for his life.
In the recording Bigley is reported to have renewed his appeal for Tony Blair to meet the kidnappers' demands. He said his captors did not want to kill him and accused the Prime Minister of ignoring his plight.
The report said the Tawhid and Jihad group, headed by Jordanian terrorist Abu Musab al Zarqawi, would release him.
Bigley was kidnapped in Baghdad on September 16 with two Americans, Eugene Armstrong and Jack Hensley, both of whom were murdered. But the website claimed the terrorists were going to free the 62-year-old in order to "humiliate" the British Government.

THE British hostage in Iraq, Kenneth Bigley, appeared huddled in a cage in a videotape broadcast on the satellite news channel Al-Jazeera today.
Dressed in orange overalls and crouched, an exhausted-looking and unshaven Mr Bigley is heard saying: "He doesn't care about me," in an apparent reference to British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
"I'm only one ... just one person," he adds.
Mr Bigley's hands and feet were shown tied with a rope that also went around his neck. The metal cage, in front of a brick wall, did not appear high enough for him to stand up.
According to the Qatar-based station, the 62-year-old hostage called on Mr Blair "to work to free Iraqi prisoners" and said his "kidnappers do not want to kill him".

You know what surprises me most about this kind of thing? It's not just barbaric way in which they behave. It's the lack of outrage from "moderate" Muslims, from the other "civilized" countries, and from liberals!!
These things (they are not people) are devoid gangsters. I have yet to see anyone of any stature in Islam condemn the cowardly murder of people who are tied up like sheep. What courage does it take to kill a defensless person? But that's all they can do because they cannot pick up a gun and face our military head on.

Now this is what I like to think I would do but of course one really would not know until you found yourself in that situation.

I think you just demonstrated why the terrorists are releasing people now. If someone who had just been kidnapped knew that in all likelihood that were dead meat regardless they probably would start going ape-sh@t. And you can't get much propoganda out of a corpse. So the terrorists start releasing a select few in order to give those kidnapped later a pause for thought - if I behave they just might release me too!
Imagine if it was a muslim terrorist being held in those conditions by a member of the multi-nation coalition!
What would the homosocialist democrats be saying? What would the UN be saying? What would the French and Germans be saying? What would the muslim community be saying?
Since our enemy thinks it is acceptable to saw off heads of westerners in the name of God, if we retaliate with a terrorist beheading, are we are now fighting by their rules of engagement.

Well what about the muslims, and their illegal war? Every time they saw off the head of a westerner (non-muslim), how many more westerners are they pushing over the edge of hate and revenge against their so called peaceful religion!
