Voting arrangements in Florida do not meet "basic international requirements" and could undermine the US election,WTF do "basic international requirements" have to do with any election in this country.
God, I wish Jimmah would just STFU and go away. Like others, I used to think he was a nice guy and a lousy President.

thats right. Perhaps, the words to express disgust of J. Carter probably haven't been invented yet.
will the Democrats still be whinning over the 2000 election 10,20 years from now?
To: Pharlap
Benedict Arnold was actually a hero once....unlike Jimmie Earl.

States determine voting requirements
Not in Jimmy Carter's world they don't. In Jimmy Carter's world the United Nations and International organizations work for one accord worldwide. And if that means tossing away the sovereignty of the United States, well ... that's what it means. And to think that a single state would have any sovereignty is the kind of talk that - in Jimmy Carter's world - is going to get you locked up. I despise this man and wish he wasn't from Georgia.

"I used to think he was a nice man, just a lousy president."
He may have once been a nice man, but his loss to Ronald Reagan embittered him and he's never gotten over it. Ever since then, he's had a grudge against the American people and has done everything in his power to undermine Republican presidents.
To: Ginifer
Jimmah take you 'Basic International Requirements' and stick them in your pie hole, you contemptable commie POS.
An aside;
How this mope has escaped injury in building all those 'free' houses is amazing when one considerers all the construction accidents that occur each year. How he's never fallen off a ladder, or cut his hand off with a Sawzall® escapes me - as he's utterly brain dead.
Furthermore, since he's so big on 'internationalism', why are 'WE' providing SS protection? I'm sure that's not 'up to' his "international requirements". Pull his SS detail NOW, let the frickin U.N. do it. Screw him!

And this is the same guy who said the Venezuelan election went on without a hitch.
Carter never participated in an international affair that he didn't screw up.

Couple that with the fact that his presidential 'legacy' amounts to a negative and you have the portrait of a desperate man. This explains his globe-trotting, op-ed columns and the naivete of the

On the other hand Arafat's Palestinian elections were fair!
---Jimmy Carter and Palestinian President Yasir Arafat answer questions from journalists outside of Mr. Arafat's office in Gaza City. Although the Carter Center-NDI observer team cited some irregularities, they found the Palestinian elections to be generally free and fair. ---

It's utterly ridiculous. The Dems are destroying their party and, worse yet, teaching legions of people that they live in a country where evil Republicans steal elections. I resent it, deeply. Again, words cannot express my outrage at what Gore & co. did (or tried to do) to the legal system.

Bring in the U.N. political monitors - per Jimmy Carter - Americans can't be trusted to monitor their OWN VOTING BOOTHS!
