Hi there...
Would anyone who is able mind posting that map of Jeanne's projected path that has ALL the projections on it? I know that it's somewhere on Hurricanealley.net, but I can't seem to find it. I'm just south of Jacksonville and want to know what my chances are, and what to expect.
Thanks!

In Daytona, you're going to definitely get some more damage tonight. I guess you know the drill by now, but sheesh.

I'm in a hotel in Orlando. Evacuated from Brevard County on the East coast.
I evacuated here for Frances. Never lost power here. I've got lots' of food and stuff.
My two young sons are with me this time. We're turning this into a mini-vacation. Played some mini golf and are going to Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum this afternoon.
These hurricanes are costing me a fortune in hotel bills.

These words scare me. A lot.
Initial intensity has been increased to 100 knots. This makes Jeanne a category three hurricane on the Saffir/Simpson hurricane scale. There is a chance that the hurricane could become a category four before landfall in Florida.

Now moved up to a category 3, and seems it could be worse than Ivan as it gains force towards the coast. Four hurricanes in six weeks is too, too many. Heed the warnings to protect yourselves and stay safe. May God protect those in this storm's path.

Yes. Pretty impressive! I hope the link stays up as the hurricane passes over. I'd like to get the data recorded.
Got to go outside and anchor down my anemometer's antenna mast. That should be it for me.

I have an enormouse cypress leaning over my house from charley and frances. It's in the neighbors yard, they wont do anything about it, neither will FEAM because the roots aren't exposed (not kidding, thats their criteria). It's about about 70° almost touching a power pole on my property.
If I had an enormous chain I would tie it off to their home.

Catergory 4? Oh, please, no.
Husband is out of town (lucky b*stard) and I'm here alone with the baby! WAH! But I worry for those who don't have a house, or somewhere safe to go...it kinda looks like the middle of the state is going to get hammered pretty good.

I'm in Switzerland, just south of Jacksonville. I'm in a brick house...I'm a mite worried. As everyone is! Do you think I need to worry about getting out of here? I don't have any gas in the car!
To: vox_freedom
May God protect those in this storm's path. My sentiments exactly. The people of Florida have suffered enough.
