CONTROVERSIAL TEXAS RANCHER SAYS LOCKHART WANTED DOCUMENTS //
The source of a disputed CBSNEWS report claimed Thursday that Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart tried to "convince me as to why I should give them the documents." Texas Army National Guard Lt. Col. Bill Burkett tells the FORT WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM that he has suffered four seizures since being identified as CBS' source and dogged by the media... Developing...
Controversial Texas rancher defends release of documents to CBS
I'd be having seizures too, if I was in as much trouble as this guy.
The only problem I have with your analysis is, how could they be so smart and so stupid at the same time?
I hope he has protection.
....savor the triangulation.... Very nicely put ! :-)
I agree. Burkett can break this thing wide open - he knows much more than he's telling right now. The trick is to bring enough pressure on him to talk, but not drive him under the protective wing of the DNC. I think he's taking all the nutcase talk personally and if the DNC rags on him too much, he might give it all up?
This is good enough for Steak-Out. Now where did I put that bottle of Andre?
Hopefully we can get Burkett's phone records and see the inbound and outbound call's. Should be interesting reading. Hehehe. Pass the popcorn. Parley
Right! That seems to be lost on most folks. The Amer. Spectator piece, and Burkett's own claims, fit with the scenario involving Max Cleland putting Burkett in touch with some Kerry honcho - right after Cleland's Crawford visit. Never answered, how come Burkett had Cleland's cell #? The Best guess: David Van Os, who was at the Bush ranch with Cleland.
Having said that...could Lockhart not have known BB was the same source as the one who sent docs by the Cleland contact? Possible. Or if he realized BB had already sent docs, could he have thought these were ADDITIONAL docs? Possible.
Has anybody peeked in over at DirtyUnderpants.com to see if this has been posted?
Burkett does not strike me as one who would bite his lip while they do the dirty deed.
If he goes down, he will not go down without a fight. He will make sure he will not be the only one who takes the fall.
Thanks. Seizures are related to a short-circuit in the brain that causes bodily collapse. In the brain, there are synapses that are very similar to tunneling diodes in the electrical world. Shottkey diodes and field-effect xistors. nerve paths cross polarities and you have siezures. Electrons build up on one side of the barrier and can't cross.
"Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart tried to "convince me as to why I should give them the documents.""
So, did he give designated liar Joe bug eyes the memos??
Yep. I have a little 1 acre spread. It is really a money maker. It is in downtown Dallas.
Yes. And we are all controversial.
He was already rather scornful toward the Kerry camp in his Internet/email writings before the stuff hit the fan, and as he knows everyone is trying to burn him he may be willing to take some of the liars down with him. In his politics he appears to be more of a Michael Moore-on radical than a conventional liberal, so he may even decide that it's best that the DNC and Kerry get thrashed this time around.... Burkett will collect his nest egg (he hopes) from CBS, and he will (he imagines) be in a position to advise the Democrats on how to re-build for 2008. That's my take on his mindset from reading far too many of his self-righteous whinings he wrote in the month of August.....
Who's next up on Fox? Shouldn't this be e-mailed to them??
----
Fox has nothing live late except for their updates every half hours. I don't this will be broken on Fox until tomorrow.

Thanks. It looks from this thread that Joe Scarborough sp? has seen this!
Damn! I left and there were 71 posts...
Come back 5 minutes later and there's 254!!!!!!!!
Who would have told Mapes about Burkett? Ben Barnes? Robin Rather?
> Burkett is a military man with an exit strategy.
I'm still bothered by the low quality of the fakes,
entirely apart from the formatting. I would have
expected someone with Burkett's military experience
to craft more credible content.
If Burkett is the author, or even the consultant,
I wouldn't count on this chess game having been
planned several alternative gambits in advance.
