Even Hillary isn't stupid enough to take Kerry's spot at this point.

Let's be real....she can't get on the ballot in most states. I doubt she would win with a right in candidacy.

I thought this would happen during the convention, but at this point, could she be leaglly placed on the ballot in most states...ahem, most states without 'Rat Secs of State.

Dig up the "Happy Ramadan" speech she made, that might help her win the terrorist... oops I mean Islamic vote.

99% of the stuff posted on FR about Hillary is ultimate tinfoil and gives FR a bad name. It appeals to the lowest IQ segment of this group.

So, how exactly could Shillary replace Skerry? Do they have to have another damn convention to nominate her? How exactly does her coup d'etat work?

Laws in most states would keep Hillary off the ballot. There is no way she could win the Electoral College vote with the handful of "blue" states that would get her on the ballot.

I would have believed it before or even during the convention.

But now, unless they found Kerry lying face down in Ft. Marcy Park, I don't think so.

There's only one problem with Hillary as "ghost in the machine."

Dean did it to himself. And now Kerry's doing it to himself.

Hillary's got nothing to do with it.

Interesting theory....make the candidate so damned worthless, dorky, stiff, freakish, and hopeless as possible so the thought of Hillary stepping in induces orgasms in the loony libs....I doubt this will happen but who would have thought CBS would do what they did.

Ballots are being printed in most states. There is no way to get 50 states to "erase" Kerry and put in "Rodman"-Clinton.

Not gonna happen.

Not every state is New Jersey.

Perhaps she could not be legally placed on the ballot, but the electors who are on the ballot would be free to vote for her instead of Kerry.

Withdrawing Kerry would only ensure further chaos in the DNC.

Hillary could have stepped in at any moment right up to the convention, but she has left it far too late to be recruited to save the party.

It's one thing to replace a candidate who dies or becomes seriously incapacitated during the campaign; it's quite another to replace one just because he's proven to be undesirable.

Utter nonsense. Kerry isn't interested in dropping out. He's lived his entire life for this moment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't the democrats only replace kerry if he's either incapacitated or dead? The filing deadline is long past.

And she doesn't even have to replace Kerry. All she has to do is campaign to vote the Dem party line. She can then, behind the scenes, convince the Dem electors that Kerry is Unfit for Command, so they should vote for her.

Of course, some might vote for Edwards as well, but she wouldn't have to actually lose the election which is her primary fear.
