Fifth column! SeeBS colluded with the Kerry campaign to throw an election.
Criminal!!!
"Sequim, Washington area
Is the Three Crabs still in business?
Grani really gets around!
Yep, this story is getting uglier and uglier for both cBS and the Kerry campaign.
Feel free to credit it; it's public info (Yahoo's finance details for VIAb insider trade.) If Sumner was informed as to the nature of the next day's interviews, as well as info such as the call to the DNC...
Well, I'm sure that others will have thier legal opinions on it. If nothing else, it'll be an interesting thing to go hmmm... about.
Let CBS tell the plumber in Pittsburgh, the carpenter in Cleveland, the little old lady in Lauderdale: "It was only $11,952,500.00"
:~)
Now to take this one step further...could this, dare I even type the words...could this even go as far as to reach the Clintons themselves? Directives from Bill while in the hospital? Hillary while she plays, badly I might add, the dutiful wife? Could their heads roll for this too? Oh to dream.
Red
Fox friend just called. (S)he (hiding ID) was called by friend at CBS minutes ago with "How big do you think this is going to play?" question.
Order CBS 144 reams of extra high grade Xerox paper. (They want the resumes on good paper, don't they?)
You got that right.

What Clinton did to the Military and to the CIA is what is really criminal. Ken Starr should have gone after him for THAT. Clinton's record on terrorism is beyond pathetic, more like TREASONIST.... FYI... read "Intelligence Failure".

TRANSLATION: "The producer definitely told me they had documents."
At the end of the conversation, Lockhart said he thanked Burkett for his interest, and there was no further contact with him. Asked why he called Burkett, Lockhart said he talks to "a lot of people." "I called you, didn't I?"
I think we should all call Joe Lockhart tomorrow and see if he indeed talks to a lot of people.
This is so ridiculous, it's incredible!
I agree with you that wealth among a few Dems AND Repubs has grown so large that it is dangerous - but to S. Redstone $11MM is just a periodic diversification transaction. He has $1.8 BILLION dollars and an army of lawyers - not a significant ransaction, nor a cause for attention.
In the last 25 years we in the West (including our 401k, we means all of us) have accumulated $10 TRILLION dollars of personal wealth.
That is why Bush wants an ownership society. If we own it we care about it.
They've been at this stuff for a long time. Like a little old lady driving down the freeway at 25 miles an hour, there will be accidents flying all around them, while they go on their merry way, totally unscathed.
Kerry operatives in Georgia disclosed details to Atlanta reporters before it aired. How did they know?Time to sift through their long distance phone bills -er- do some dumpster diving and midnight trash inspecting; the links would, no doubt, be there from this month and/or the last ...
I believe you are right. This is SO egregious that the FEC and every other appropriate Government agency should be chomping at the bit to crush CBS, the dims, et. al.
That the DNC then took this info and coordinated it ad campaign to fit the "news" is beyond the pale. The near simultaneous airing of the original 60mins and the DNC ad "Fortunate Son" was nothing less than an attempt to harm a sitting President during a time of war.
You betcha! THE story is who created these documents and what was the chain of custody to SeeBS.
I know this goes way beyond a mere question of licensing, but I think the FCC should stop wimping out on this, too. CBS's license should be suspended until its top offices can be cleaned out.
Happy to be of service, ma'am! Lemme hop into this nearby phone booth . . . . . there. Jammies in the wash, though; I'm faking my pajamahadeen act here with other comfy clothes.
No sweat, sweetie - we're on it. This won't fade away until we say it will. Which will be, approximately . . . . ummm, never.
Wish I knew ya when you could slip a fellow superhero some free cookies . . . . . .
