And the hits just keep on coming...
Maryland is officially in play... from SUSA nonetheless.
Oh my.
Holy crap!
Nice, but it's SurveyUSA. I kinda take their polls with a grain of salt.
This is nuts!!!
Well, hope its true, but I also hope that GWB doesn't waste any time/money there. They can get the bleed off from Pennsylvania though.
Another state Kerry has to pour money into....:-)
Why? SUSA has been very reliable in the past.
The problem for the Democrats is that despite their best efforts, a Black middle class has arisen in Maryland and enough of them are paying more in taxes than they're getting in government programs, which is a recipe for a turn towards the Republican Party.
Okay, but I guessed it was SurveyUSA just from the title of the thread. They tend to jump around a bit, which gets infuriating. I think they're better at primaries .....
Maryland!!! Are you freakin' kidding me? Maryland a "battleground state"? Is there any state that's NOT a battleground state now, except for Rhode Island and Vermont? I would like to see a Massachussetts poll, by the way. I bet Bush is closer there than you think! If they elect Mitt Romney as governor, why not Bush over a guy they hate?
I don't believe this for one second.
Thank you Dan Blather !
If Maryland is in play, then I believe the polls showing Bush up by 12 nationally.
No, but it looks great right now and as long as Bush can keep the momentum, we can say "landslide."
As far as I am concerned, if Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey are indeed in play, Delaware (which hasn't been polled yet) is also in play. Life can't be good for Kerry right now.
Maryland resident here - if this is true, Kerry's toast. Heck, if it's even HALF true he's gone daddy gone...
A Black middle class that believes its existence should be attributed, at least in small part, to government programs like affirmative action and low-interest loans for small minority-owned businesses.
