John Kerry (search) reminded his hometown supporters at a $3 million fund-raiser Saturday night that
he's come from behind to win elections before.
"Let me tell you something, these folks have got me in fighting mood," Kerry said of rival President Bush's (

When I get in a fighting mood...I think you know what happens here in Massachusetts."

someone should remind senator kerry that mounting a comeback in an election in the peoples republic of mass. is not the same as mounting a comeback in a national election. the national voting population trends a bit more to the center than the folks in the bay state. plus, unfortunately for the windsurfing senator, george bush is not william weld.

Thanks for that post. I was thinking the same thing. Of course, there is somewhat of a shortage of Vietnamese to backshoot around here, so boys of all persuasions -- and maybe the rest of us -- better take cover.
