On Friday the Kerry Spot on NRO posted key elements of a piece about a telephone interview I had with James J. Pierce, a document expert who stands as one of the few remaining fig leaves that CBS News is using to cover its credibility. But Pierce says he has not yet rendered a final judgment on the Killian memos, and also says CBS gave him "lots more documents", which he is still in the middle of evaluating.
I'm new to Free Republic by the way, but started visiting the site after I read that 'Buckhead' had gotten the ball rolling on the document forgery story. This site is a great resource!

It's the only way to stay informed, it seems. I feel like I am aware of every story days, weeks or even months or years before it hits the lamestream. This really is a great story. But, hate to say it.. but your quote doesn't support the headline. This is really a coup, getting this story and I quoted you yesterday in a couple of threads. So I am definitely a fan.
But folks read this headline like Pierce has thrown up his hands. This isn't the case. He just was annoyed that they posted his ill considered first memo. Clearly he should be growing more embarrassed by the day. The fact that he is still working this.. is very curious.
