also worth watching the repeat later today to see #41 (when he was VP) taking Dan Rather to the woodshed...I'd forgotten it...it's a classic!
I'm waiting for the show where Krystal rips off Juan's microphone and smacks him upside his head.
"Tim finally told Daschle to 'let him [Thune] finish."
I think Russert did a good job on this one.
McCain will run again in 2008. We'll remember him pulling his punches.
Shhh! We can't have the truth getting in the way. Thanks God for Rush.
MTP coming up now. Looking forward to the debate.
Did Brit bring out the board or the strap? Dam we don't
it get it til 5 here.
I think that should be one of our biggest themes...that the RATS statements give comfort to the enemy and demoralize our troops. Republicans should be screaming this from the rooftops.
Ditto !!!!!!!!!
"MTP coming up now. Looking forward to the debate."
I would be "deeply saddened" if you don't think Thune handily beat Daschle today. He would make a "great" Senator.
They will..'we don't think its wise to have troops thinking their job and lives have been 'wasted''
Tim on MPT: "If Al Gore had won West Virginia in 2000, he would be President."
Duh! Tim. If Al Gore has won 270 electoral votes, he would be President. HE DIDN'T !!!
If Al has won his home state...
If Al had won Florida...
If Al had won Texas...
If Al had won Arkansas...
If, if, if....
DIDN'T DIDN'T DIDN'T
[They won't give up; they are still recounting 2000.]
Is that true about Cheney? why doesn't someone mention it? Do our guys not have the stomach that W does?
Thanks Meg I can't wait to see it.
>Edwards is the one who's going to be facing Cheney with these Halliburton charges.
>It'll be must see TV.
It 'll be interesting. Cheney will say, "I am proud in serving a company that serves our Military for decades. Over 45 Haliburton employees died in Iraq while serving our Military. Your trial lawyer friend (Ramsey Clark, who BTW arranged Rather's Saddam interview) is defending Saddam now."
"Why does McCain insist on covering for the opposition? "
Maybe we've been wrong. Maybe he's the one who's trying to get
Rather's job.
Rather has it in for all Republicans but especially the Bush family. Bush 41 did humiliate Rather in 1988 and he has never forgotten...unfortunately for Rather, GWB has never forgiven Rather for the way he visciously attacked his father. Let the games begin. I'll put my money of the current President Bush.
If he had any brains he'd address the issues and clarify his positions on the issues . I STILL dont know what the hell this guy even stands for . GEEEEEEZZZZ
