John Kerry: Bad Choice

John Kerry: Bad Choice

As election time comes around, there seems to only be three main choices. One person is the least viable of these choices. From the facts it seems John Forbes Kerry is a fraud, unethical, and unfit to be the president of the United States.

First it seems John Kerry has been untruthful about a number of things. His statement about Christmas in Vietnam is just one of them. On October 14, 1979, John Kerry described an event from when he was in Vietnam: “I remember spending Christmas Eve of 1968 five miles across the Cambodian border being shot at by our South Vietnamese allies who were drunk and celebrating Christmas. The absurdity of almost being killed by our own allies in a country in which President Nixon [sic] claimed there were no American troops was very real.” In truth, Kerry was in Se Dec, fifty miles from Cambodia; Nixon wasn’t even the president at Christmas Eve, or Christmas in ‘68. His statements about atrocities are another of his untruths. On April 22, 1971, As a head of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), Kerry told the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and the American public, that American troops “...had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam...” Very few other veterans have claimed that this is true, most of them were in the VVAW with Kerry, while more then 250 Vietnam veterans, including men that fought beside Kerry, have said that Kerry lied about the things that went on in Vietnam.

Second it seems that John Kerry has been unethical in trying to get votes. The term “flip-flopping” has been used to describe Kerry’s statements. In The Boston Globe on 03/11/03 “Senator John F. Kerry of Massachusetts … said he will cease his complaints once the shooting starts. ‘It’s what you owe the troops,’ said a statement from Kerry, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. ‘I remember being one of those guys and reading news reports from home. If America is at war, I won’t speak a word without measuring how it’ll sound to the guys doing the fighting when they’re listening to their radios in the desert.” And then on 04/03/03 to The Boston Globe, Kerry said “What we need now is not just a regime change in Saddam Hussein and Iraq, but we need a regime change in the United States,’ Kerry said in a speech at the Peterborough Town Library. Despite pledging two weeks ago to cool his criticism of the administration once war began, Kerry unleashed a barrage of criticism as US troops fought within 25 miles of Baghdad.” Both were in interviews by Glen Johnson. This is complete hypocrisy on Kerry’s part; he really needs to make up his mind where he stands on just about everything he says. In numerous states Kerry Okayed attempts by his campaign staff to keep Ralph Nader off the ballots. In Oregon Kerry had the Democratic Party, state Democratic partisans, corporate lobbyists and law firms try and scare petitioners from turning in petitions for Ralph Nader. In Illinois Kerry tried to have petitions for Nader blocked by “Trying to exclude thousands of signatures in Illinois because the signatories had moved since registering to vote - even though they still lived in Illinois and even though they were still registered voters.”

Finally it seems John Kerry has done some very unintelligent things in his career. In June of 1970 Kerry left without permission, to Paris, to meet with Madam Win Thi Binh, the Foreign Minister of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of Vietnam (PRG)(the political section of the Vietcong) and with representatives of Hanoi who were in Paris for the peace talks at the time. When he returned to the U.S. he committed treason by heading protests against the U.S. military, this is in direct conflict with the Constitution's Article three, Section three, which defines treason as "giving aid and comfort" to the enemy in time of warfare. Kerry also has missed 89% of work in the senate this year, because he's been flying around lying to people and changing his mind on everything right after he says it. He even missed important votes on veteran’s benefits, benefits for the people he says he cares most about.

In short, John Kerry is an unwise choice based on his record, his ethics, and actions. So when you go to the polls, you'll know that one choice is definitely the wrong choice, John Kerry is an unethical fraud, who lackes all the qualities to be the president of the United States.

"there seems to only be three main choices."

Before you turn it in, change "seems" to "seem." I don't mean to nit pick, but your grammer should be impeccable.

John Kerry is the worst choice of all the serious Democrat candidates from the primaries. Man, we really faked out the Dems with that "we want to run against Dean!" stuff from Karl... and they fell for it!

What morons!
I guess its safe to say now that they took the bait and and fell right into our trap! HAHA!
Dean was a really scary guy to me. Especially because he had so many people that were really passionate about his campaign. He could have beat Bush, which is why we had to take him out. Kerry has no enthusiasm, no momentum, no base, and no chance to win, just like we thought all those months ago.

Cool:) Isn't this what the MSM likes to call "speaking truth to power"? LOL. Watch your teacher come unglued as all liberals do when faced with facts:)

No problem. I do that all the time and you would think I would learn. I'm inking it on my arm.

No problem, I don't really care if someone online misspells. It's just funny when they are correcting another person's poor grammar.

Your point was spot-on. Don't give the liberal professor any extra ammo.

You use "it seems that..." in two sentences in a row, right in the opener. I would change at least one of them. Perhaps something a bit stronger, such as "I have come to the conclusion that..." or "I have ascertained that..." or "it has become apparent that.." or for extra boldness, "the facts are clear that..."

As a Viet Nam Vet -65 to 66 in II corp.I have a question about Kerry. Date and type of his discharge? If he admitted to war crimes in 71 why was'nt he charged. Why was'nt he charged for meeting in Paris with North Vietnamese and Viet Cong?Could these be reasons he won'nt release 180 on his service records.

I would have written many many more paragraphs if it wasn't for the fact that she wanted it in a special way.

The answer to all of your questions is: politics.
The military doesn't want to get involve. The FBI doesn't want to get involve.

Not when it's someone who has influence on the public or is connected to people with influence within the establishment.

Kerry fit both.

Good work! As noted, appropriate paragraphing will make it even better. If you are writing for a liberal or anyone, proofread several times. And auto spell checkers are not infallible.
