I'm amazed that it has taken this long to get an on the record interview with this guy. He should have been number one on the CBS list but I guess they didn't think there was any need to "fact check" when you have an "unimpeachable source".

I really have to question the timing of this.
A number of years ago Staudt was interviewed & at that time he said no one helped Bush get into TANG. I think the "sugar coat" memo was worded specifically to pre-empt anything Staudt had to say on the issue, as they already knew his position & they didn't want anyone with credibility poking holes in the story they wanted people to believe.
Good thing See-BS has ABC to do their research for them!

Funny, I thought CBS waited to make sure every witness was Democrat or dead before filing this story.
I've been reading for days that it's "over now" for CBS on this story.....I've never believed it until now. It is truly over now.
