ABC News has an exclusive interview with Col. Stoudt, the retired colonel who allegedly pressured Killian to cover for Lt. Bush during his Air National Guard stint according to forged documents aired by CBS News.
Stoudt says the docs are fake, he never pressured Killian about Bush and he did nothing to help Bush get into the Air National Guard in fact he was happy to have as many pilots as he could.

Staudt Lives in New Braunfels in a pretty secluded spot and doesn't like interviews I am surprised he gave this one.

No mention. Our affiliate only airs the first segment. I've got to shower and go to work (yes, I'm in pajamas) so I'll leave this to the rest of you. Have fun. Feel free to post a link if you see where this is posted anywhere.

Right. The lying Republicans are everywhere. Millions of them climbing out from underneath rocks solely to make Dan Rather look bad.
On the other hand, they are an extreme minority.

I just heard this on ABC radio and immediately looked to see if it was posted (good job!).
He completely refutes the CBS story and they played lengthy excerpts of the General's comments.
The reporter ended with "He's a Bush supporter".
Good job, Mr. Reporter. Make sure to include "He's a Kerry supporter" when you refer to Ben Barnes and Bill Burkett, OK?

Looks like Staudt was engaged in a bit a "strategery" himself. He wanted to see how far Rather and co stepped in it before he clarified things.

I'm blessed with a child with a driving license. I never seem to get any change back when I send him & he will not buy smokes for me. Least the kittys haven't starved, cuz cat food is something he will buy. :o)

Wouldn't you know I have an interior office and can't listen to the radio! Rush is coming on with the third hour right now. I hope he mentions it.

I know I dug up a quote from him from a few years back refuting the favoritism krap during that go-round.
He's been on the record before and if I were he, I'd take a week to cool down before going on the record lest I strangle the reporter.

This and related threads have been HELL on my billable hours. I gotta get back to coding soon so I can send some more money to Thune, Bush, and the Swiftees.
