Pat Buchanan and Joe Scaroboborough are not using the kid gloves used by the host of the formerly number one show in cable news. Buchanan said CBS was complict in a criminal conspiracy to affect a presidential election. Scaroborough is evidently not in negotiation with Rather for a future interview.

WoW! that took a dive
It sure is.
And so is using a dead man's personal papers without permission.
My thoughts exactly! Terrorists come in various shapes, forms, and sizes. Some have rifles in their hands, some have bombs strapped around their waists, and some come with only a pen or microphone in their hand. But their goal is all the same?
It makes that little performance of Rather's on last night 60 Minutes looks insane!
He practically called Bush out for a duel; this is way too personal with Rather.
Yep .. he said that
BTW ... never thought I'd agree with Pat .. but he went after Dan and CBS but good *L*
That is the S&P 500 a benchmark one should use when comapring an individual stock. As you can see for the same time period the market was UP slighly while Viacom went down. So we know that VIA isn't dropping because of the market. The only other reason I can think of is Rathergate.
I feel bad for Professor Zelnick. He seems to have led a career of responsible journalism.
Heck, he could indeed be considered a pioneer.
And he has....in the past years...seen his industry/art destoyed by hacks.
The past week...he has had a look of total disgust on his face.
On a side note. Where ever he is teaching journalism right now.......his students need to realize how lucky they are to have a man who is not towing the media line as a teacher.
I did not know that Daley moved. I would say that he might be in position to take over as CEO in the future. Bankers and politicians is not a good combination. As a cynic, I would have to speculate that JPM may have some problems in the future that might need some political clout to affect a taxpayer bailout.
I just finished watching Scarborough. Wow! The media gang that he had on the show was only missing one thing. A rope to hang Rather!
Great show!
I was tired of watching all of the Hurricane stuff and turned on Scarborough. I'm glad that I did!
I'm going to be up late tonight, catching reruns.......somebody said CSPAN is rerunning Bush and Kerry's speeches at the NG thing......I just have to watch again to see Bush's HUGE reception and Kerry's Ice Station Zebra entrance.
Then there's Hardball....I didn't see all of the Burkett clip........and that snarky James Moore is on there, too!
I watched the show and thought it was very well done. Pat Buchanan hammered hard at CBS. All the segments were overwhelmingly against CBS and their actions. There were no Democratic slime operatives on to say pukey things. Dan is done, everyone was simply explaining the different ways his goose was cooked. They blamed his descent into celebrity status where he believes he can do no wrong, and the rush to get the big scoop.
I am not sure but he was introduced as acting chair of his department but I do not remember the school.
Matthews is on now here
Did ya see the clips of Kerry and the Guard on Brit's show ... the looks on the Guards faces were not good for Kerry :0)
Ah ha ha -- Hardball just came on with Christ Matthews claiming that Bush has lost his bounce in the polls. ???? Then why does Drudge announce that Bush has a fourteen point lead?!
Pat has his sane moments, sadly the are fewer and further between these days....
Mort Zuckerman's candy a** performance reminds me of why I failed to renew my subscription to US News and World Report when it expired last year. The mag had strayed from the conservative viewpoint into accommodation with liberalism.
I like Joe's show. It is not a shout show. Joe does not yell, but he uses humor to get his points across. He has hammered Rather harder than anyone on cable.
