Nah, they are probably in-house counsel, so they will be actually earning their obscene salaries for once. Come to think of it, for something like this, they will probably bring in outside counsel as well. Abrams (sp?) on Viacom's board is a heavy hitting lawyer as well.
The thing that doesn't make sense, is that Dan had people tell him they were fakes... And I don't think he was going along with a plan for them to be found out. He's forged docs before, and I think he was fully expecting to get away with the fraud.

Your right, I don't think they will EVER admit that they believe it to be a forgery. I think they may, however, contend that since their is so much disagreement on their authenticity that they will work the other angles of the story. Mind you, I still think they have to come up with something better than this in the long run. I just think this is what will happen today.
Pure speculation on my part. I am really hoping that they are so boxed in that there is no way out!

I hope Republican Congressmen don't mess this up by trying to get their faces on the news. Why do we need a 'subcomittee investigation' for? Let the news people hammer CBS and stop dancing around the edges of censorship - that's what Democrats do, not Republicans. Let it alone.
