Kelley Wright just reported that CBS is expected to make a statement this morning regarding the documents!
Maybe Rather got mugged.
"What's the frequency, Kenneth?"
Hmm, I wonder if anyone thought of checking the memos for those pesky spell check resistant strain of typos
lol...even make-up couldn't do that justice.
I belive in the New Americian Dictionary, latest edition they have Sussans picture next to the definition for "Coyote Ugly (AMER. Slang)
lol...even make-up couldn't do that justice.
1.26 billion lost in three days.
Sobering.
A hurricane is what? 2-3 billion lost, max?
And, as somebody pointed out above, people are buying too, hoping it will rise after Rather is fired!
Oh my! BWAHAHA!
I have to get a hat like that!
Maybe it will keep my head from exploding in anticipation of this CBS statement.
Back to clogging now...
The woman whose pre-show routine involves a well-planned dance of kool-aid consumption and peanut butter gargling.
Another indicator that CBS is in disarray. Eeeeeeeeeexcellent.
EV, I was so angry this weekend when I had the same exact question. I was watching the Vietnam Vets for Truth rally on CSPAN, and just became incensed at what passes for commonly accepted truth about Vietnam. I knew almost nothing about Vietnam except what Hollywood puts forth, as I was born in the late 60s. They smeared a whole generation of honorable Vets. It just sickens me.
It's time to hold Old Media accountable!
If you type and :, It will show up like this:
 and
Jay Leno: "Let's see what's going on over at C-BS news."
Jay Leno: "New documents surfaced today proving that President Bush did not fulfill his National Guard service. CBS says they know they're new, 'cause they were just printed over the weekend."
Jay Leno: "It's nothing but disasters on the news. Hurricane Frances, Hurricane Ivan, the Kerry campaign. It's just one disaster after another."
Jay Leno: "Crime in the US is at a 30-year low. Lowest it's ever been since '72. And today, John Kerry blamed the whole thing on President Bush. He said the economy is so bad, even criminals are having a hard time finding jobs."
I could listen to The Ragin' Cajun all day. He is a trip.
"For the record, CBS News stands by the thoroughness and accuracy of the 60 Minutes report this Wednesday on President Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard.
This report was not based solely on recovered documents, but rather on a preponderance of evidence, including documents that were provided by unimpeachable sources, interviews with former Texas National Guard officials and individuals who worked closely back in the early 1970s with Col. Jerry Killian and were well acquainted with his procedures, his character and his thinking.
They're standing by their story based on the testimony of two known Bush haters. That's it. That's their story.
Boortz: "CBS TO HAVE A STATEMENT IN AN HOUR TO 'CLARIFY'.."

Let's hope.
Because we are the collective intelligence of thousands of people.
And you and your liberal friends have the collective intelligence of a box of rocks.
What is it exactly that is wrong with her voice? Surely it can't all be from smoking. I just can't stand it!
A tad off topic..saw O'Reilly last night, it was a good show, BTW..he mentioned that Laura Ingraham had had some very nasty comments about him, so, of course, he invited her to be on tonite...should be worth watching..
Thanks
Amazingly, it came after the announcement that Chris Cox had called for an investigation. She also mentioned what a smart lawyer Cox is.
Hmmm. I think they are scared of that inquiry in Congress, myself.
