Not a word about Staudt! Retired 18 months before the memo titled CYA.

43 got an honorable discharge. Which means he was where he was supposed to be, when he was supposed to be there.

Guess what, Mara? It isn't up to the President of the United States to PROVE that he was in Alabama! It's up to the gutter snipes in the media and the RAT Party to PROVE that he WASN'T!!! Which they have not done as they ignore those that have come forward to say they served with GWB IN Alabama. It's sickening to see what is happening here.

My local radio guy, Mark Belling, today took on the issue of the CBS documents. On Friday, he was hedging his bets. Today, he came right out and called them forgeries and listed point by point the reasons why. It was great!

Burden of proof does not rest with the defendant.
It rests with the accusors - DNC/Kerry Campaing/CBS.

Yeah, and on the question of "burden of proof," she said that if the people clamored enough, the burden would shift from Bush's accusers to Bush, to prove he was in Alabama (even though the records say he was).

No. Burden of proof does not shift based on a public clamor.

The best part of that was when Fred Barnes pointed out that the typewriter that Dannyboy claims would have existed back then would have cost...in today's dollars...the equal amount of 15000 to 20000 bucks.

I AM TELLING YOU. I GREW UP ON MILITARY BASES....
AND THEY AINT SPENDING THAT KIND OF PERCENTAGE DOLLAR ON A TYPEWRITER!

Does anyone remember what aircraft the Alabama ANG was flying at the time? I'm getting ready to send a "nasty" to Mara.
