AP backs the story even though they don't know this guy's name because the reporter "trusts" him after a phone interview??? I guess AP doesn't care how stupid it looks.

(I have the "personal file" on Lt Bush. Shhhh, don't tell anyone.)

Yes, this reporter "trusts" him only because he hates Bush. Want to bet that this reporter does not "trust" 250+ Swift Boat Vets? Crappy reporting. If this was pulled in journalism school, the student would get an "F".

AP has the story they desperately want, anything to bash Bush is their motto. The fact AP's star witness is shaky as hell won't deter them in the least ... not for a minute.

AP backs the story even though they don't know this guy's name because the reporter "trusts" him after a phone interview??? I have even money right now that this guy was not only NOT a SEAL, but was never even in Vietnam.
BTW. He home-schools 7 kids? His own kids? Seven of them still in school even though the guy would have to be in his mid 50s at the minimum to have spent as much time in Nam as he claims. Maybe a Tom Cat, instead of a Seal. If the AP hack won't ask the guy for his name on his service records, I guess he doesn't have the guts to ask him how the hell old he is either.

I suspect that as long as the average Joe who reads the news at yahoo.com doesn't crosscheck the stories with those on WorldNetDaily, the AP doesn't care. AP really stands for "A-hole Partisans".
