If I recall correctly, OReilly started waffling back when MSM was questioning the veracity of Fox News and that it was not truly fair and balanced. It seems he set out to prove how fair and balanced he is by carrying water for the Dems. But I truly believe that OReilly is really all about OReilly and could give a hoot about anyone else.

cripes! how can they be serious about this stuff??

anyone who has served, or has a friend or family member who is or have ever BEEN in the military -- knows this is completely laughably stupid .

Guess they already have plans to contest military absentee ballots against, because they sure have written off that vote . . .

I've been having a difficulty following the details of this whole business. What exactly does it mean that he was with the AF? Does this evidence directly contradict the forged documents?

Hello,

Lord help us! So Drudge can make you look like idiots?? Sorry, sweetie, you do not need Drudge to do that, you do just fine on your own...

I just read the Bush document on Drudge.

Oh my, has the Favorite Son of the DNC (Terry Mc) been once again mousetrapped by Karl Rove? Nope, the DNC did it to themselves on more time!

As Homer Simpson would say....."D'oh"

For the life of me I cannot imagine why the Dems are harping on something that happened 30 years ago....it is sad.

Howlin put her finger on it the other day. Howlin, how did you put it about they want to tear down his honesty and such?

They want to portray him as not the trustworthy guy people think he is, is the bottom line and so far this area of his life (other than them running drug rumors out from time to time) is the one they think they can spin to undermine his reputation for being honest. It really has nothing to do with Kerry per se. They did this in 1999/2000 and did it during is Texas campaigns. That Kerry has chosen to highlight that area of his life plays into the dem plans, as we can see.

""DNC's named campaign "Operation Fortunate Son" "

does the DNC call it that, or is that the FR name for their disasterous set of themed blunders?"

It's the DNC name, taken from the anti-Bush book by Hatfield. The book was discredited, Hatfield was found to have drug charges and I believe he committed suicide. Wonderful start for the DNC's campaign, dontcha think?

Yeah...this is all BS. Refresh my memory; did Clinton even get half of this criticism as a draft-dodger "by the media?" I don't recall ANYONE looking into his activites at Oxford or his trip to USSR while we were at war with a communist aggressor.

The MSM is no longer just bias...they are outright advocates, and as such, they don't deserve the special protections or immunity that are associated with someone who is responsible for the "public trust." This is especially disconcerting in light of the new campaign finance laws that practically limit the political discourse in this country to those in the media. The FCC should really be looking into some of this crap.

"It's not like some state Air National Guard unit goes off on its own to some foreign country to fight a war. "

I had the same thought last night when trying to find out how the DUs could be so mixed up on this thing.

It may have to do with the 2d amendment. They think the militia in the 2d amendment is the National Guard as constituted in each State. They don't know about federal activation of the Guard, Federal recognition of state rank, etc. etc.

Very likely they DO think that the Guard goes as the State Guard overseas, LoL!! That must keep the Governors pretty darn busy -- since they would be under State command in that nutty scenario.

Does anyone know where this doc came from? Was it one of the one's released by the DOD or something that someone suddenly "found".

See my post #201.

I was lurking there. So far they only have the Ribbon story from UPI up and of course they are connecting UPI with the Washington Time, a right wing newspaper. Instead of focusing on what the AirForce said they only care about where the story is published. THAT is why this has to be given to all the mainstream media outlets.

None of this matters.

The Flyer did not say ACTIVE DUTY.

It said AIR FORCE.

The Air National Guard is part of the Air Force.

www.goang.com
bottom of page.

"The Air National Guard is a vital part of the US Air Force"

O'Reilly is on the air now making exsuses for Dan Rather.

O'Reilly is trying overly hard to join the "real journalist" clique....kinda hard for him to do since his roots are Inside Edition tabloid TV.
