At 258 inches, or 21-1/2 feet long, the CXT's about 4-1/2 feet longer than the new Hummer H2 pickup, and about 2 inches longer than the F-350 Crew Cab. But it really towers over what's on the road now is in height, at 108 inches, or 11 feet, a foot above a basketball rim and more than two feet taller than the Hummer or the F-350.

6 tons equals how many Harleys on a trailer? You would even have enough space to carry around all the tools to keep the Harleys running. :)

Hummers are ugly.
Made for those people that want a SUV that looks like a REAL HumVee.
No space inside, really thin metal for the body.
They are "look what I got" vehicles for suburban housewives...

I had an International Flatbed 1935 Model, with the Green Diamond Engine.
With that Granny gear, it could climb a tree.
Great truck.
California Wheels, you could fix a flat anywhere.

(Why do the same people who think "free trade" is the answer also want less foreign oil dependence?)

,,, I'd be happy with a Divco.

There a few still around. Not seen any lately though.

I don't understand why my neighbor down the street has a bunch of Kerry signs and yet has two SUVs. Makes no sense, but then what should one expect from a Kerry voter?

Really, bobtailing sucks. Those things skid easy, no weight for traction. Its dangerous in rain or winter weather.

Yeah I agree. When I lived in Arizona, I thought sand pits for runaway trucks were a bit unnerving to say the least.

Those down grades can be hairy and scary. I just hope the four wheelers who buy them take some sort of lessons before they hit the road, they trained us for five weeks before we went OTR. Of course they aren`t pulling trailers, but bobtailing can still be tricky.

It doesn't come with cruisae control, but for the money they get for these, i am sure you could negotiate one. They are electric, so i am sure it wouldn't be that hard.

At 1,350,000 pounds, it will probably screw up the lawn real bad too!
To: sgtbono2002
For that kind of money Peterbilt will buiold me one with a sleeper. That's what I was thinking --- that would be more practical.

Hold muh Hummer!!
OMG!! Every rednecks dream truck. I belive OVERKILL is the word that best describes that monster.
Bet we'll be seeing a new breed of "soccer mom" driving these soon.

If you are interested in fuel economy, fancy styling, or what your neighbors think of you, this probably isn't the vehicle for you.Oh, I disagree about the neighbors part... This vehicle is designed and marketed squarely at suburban soccer-moms and micropenile soccer-dads who want to one-up their neighbors.
