RE: your signature line. Now, c'mon, you didn't really mean to say that, did you?

Great news! Now all SD has to do is keep the dead Indian vote dead.

Dashole and his wife love the Injins.

Wasn't his wife implicated in the deaths of some doctors in a small plane crash when flying to a reservation several years ago?

"The GOP either has never won a Senate seat in LA, or at least not since Reconstruction."

Time for all you good ol boys to make some history down there!

Good one, Rockitz. You, of all people, have the right to tell him that.

That fella looks like a Senator.

Let's hope it turns out that way.

Daschle has run in 86, 92, 98, and now 2004....He has never run in an election year where the GOP Presidential nominee has been terribly strong...except for this year. I have no doubt he will lose.

Thanks, that made my day! Daschle and Gephardt both have undeserved reputations as being honorable Democrats, nice guys, and "grownups". In reality neither of them ever tells the truth.

Then, in 2006 we may win 4 more seats...

'06 is an interesting year because there so many freshman D senators up for re-election assuming they run including Debbie Stab-us-al (MI), Maria Cant(vote)well (WA), The Hildebeast (Hades via NY), Mark "not" Dayton (MN), and the Nelsons of FL and NE.

Do you think SD reelects Daschle because he cut his political teeth under that other "prairie socialist," George Stanley McGovern, D-SD?

I think they vote for him for the pork. Being in the minority means less bacon.

Yes, the first time around, I thought it was for real. I guess I'm just slow to catch on.

Hoo-yeah!

This is the one race I want more than any other this year! And I'm not even from South Dakota!

Thune Bump! I have a Thune sticker on my briefcase that my mom nabbed for me in a Minnesota 5th of July Parade. Yes, Thune was campaigning there on the state line if you're willing to believe my mom.

"...chose an attempt to be re-elected this year."

Uh, senators don't choose the years in which elections take place. Elections for senators are every 6 years.

You were seriously out of the loop if you did not get wind of the huge amount of speculation as to whether or not D'asshole was going to attempt re-election this go 'round.
