Authentic or not, Bush memos no big deal to retired guardsmen
U.S. Servicemen React to Bush Guard Memos (spreading the lie)
Allegations of suspect conduct during the Vietnam war also have been leveled at John Kerry, who won three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and a Bronze Star in Vietnam.
A group sponsoring television ads challenging his wartime record contends Kerry's own gunfire caused the wound that brought his first Purple Heart. Navy records and other veterans do not support the charge.
Ahmad Majied of Albany (GA) says the latest allegations about Bush's military record are more troubling to him than allegations about service honors leveled at Democratic challenger Kerry.
Majied, a Democrat from Albany who served 30 years in the Navy, including five years as a SEAL in Vietnam, said the memos support his belief that Bush was a "playboy" during his service years.
"He had enough money to get what he wanted," Majied said. "I think his main concern was not to go to Southeast Asia. I bet he never dreamed it would come back to haunt him."

So Criminal Number 18F checked him out. Here's the reply from "authentiseal."

NOT A SEAL
Thanks for checking with us - we greatly appreciate your interest in upholding the honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams, and your search for the TRUTH. If the name you provided was "spelled accurately", we do NOT have a listing for anyone named "Majied" in our entire database of slightly more than 10,000 names. Unless he has undertaken the unlikely action of a full legal name change since his claimed service with the SEAL Teams, I can state conclusively that the man NEVER completed SEAL training, and thus he is not now, nor was he ever a Navy SEAL. While there are other training steps that must be completed on the path to becoming a SEAL, BUD/S training is the first and most vital, and that training course is totally unclassified. Without having first completed BUD/S training, a man cannot go on to become a SEAL. There are definitely secret SEAL missions, but despite anything the man might have said, there are NO secret SEALs. If you choose to confront the man regarding his fraudulent SEAL claims, please show him this email message and invite him to contact me - a real SEAL - directly by email with information that will support his claims. I'd enjoy hearing his stories first hand, but I've extended this offer to literally thousands of individuals over the last three years, and in all that time I've received only a scant handful of replies, so I don't really expect to hear from him either.
Again, please visit our web page www.authentiseal.org/realitycheck.htm for some very specific information related to the realities of SEAL training, SEAL duties, and the claims most often made by SEAL imposters.
Thank you again for your assistance in upholding the honor of the US Navy SEAL Teams.
Respectfully, Gregory Platt

Another RAT fraud exposed. They're coming fast and furious. Seems they're caught butt nekkid in a hailstorm of their own making with no place to hide.
Give the guy a call.
You know the questions to ask.
"He served 30 years between 1963-1966 and fought in Vietnam alone???? "
Maybe he was in Cambodia
ok. well it seems legit then. Let's not bother the poor guy anymore. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I can't really blame those guys, especially Seals, for looking down a bit on those in the guard while they were in Nam seeing their buddies die and all. Heck, some freinds of mine are Rangers and they look down on everybody (in a goodnatured way). Just a typical macho human reaction. If we start calling and harrassing people all the time, we'll get a bad rep. The headline will be
"Right Wing Websiters harrass and accuse a decorated Ex Veteran of being a Communist". lol
Those are phone numbers(!!), NOT SSN's. Phone numbers go in groups of 3-3-4; SSN's go 3-2-4. Sheesh!
I didn't see this guy, but perhaps he changed his name (black muslims?) if he converted to Islam?
According to this reunion newsletter, this guy is listed as a Chief on a "Seaplane Tender".
It just sounds fishy, as does so much of this.
No idea. All I know about this is from this thread.
Maybe Ahmed is the super, super secret Seal/CIA OPERATVE Who Lurch took into Cambodia and spent Christmas Eve 1968 with and has carried the secret hat with him all these years????
Maybe,Maybe, Maybeeee.....
Master Chief Master at Arms, an E-9, which is the highest enlisted rating. He would have needed to enter the Navy at least 15 years earlier (probably more) to be that senior.
"He served 30 years between 1963-1966 and fought in Vietnam alone?"
He was claiming he was on the Currituck for three years, 63-66.
The USS Currituck (AV-7) was a seaplane tender, not a carrier.
Now can we find someone else who was on the Currituck, or a cruise book from that time, and look for the name of the Master Chief Master at Arms?
Elfman, thanks for calling the guy and for letting everyone know that he said he changed his name and chooses not to give out his given name. It always makes me feel more confident in FR when calm heads prevail. Totally agree, please no one else call this guy!!
If he truly served as a SEAL and has changed his name since then, someone should be able to find that information. I hope that happens before Drudge, Rush, et al repeat that he's a fraud. He may well be, but we don't know that...yet.
That raises even more alarms for me.
Military converts to Islam don't exactly come without an axe to grind - John Mohammad (DC sniper) and another guy who tossed a grenade in a tent rigth before the Iraq war started are two who come to mind (come to think of it, Mohammad supposedly did the same thing).
.
My guess is this kerry kissin poser ain't gonna like the freepectomy he's about to get !
Stay safe !
Well, it may be about time to start a letter writing campaign to dump AP from Yahoo or any other organization that reports AP's so called news.
It's not a SEAL school. It's called BUD/S. He should have been very willing to give you his Class number. His vague answers are the first clue that he is not a real SEAL. The dates that you have him serving in the USN, he would probably have been only an E-4, after 3 years. I still don't see the time frame to give him thirty years in the USN. When I talked to the people at AuthentiSeal, they get so many e-mails per day about people pretending to be SEALs. It takes three guys, seven days a week to process all the fake claims.
LOL, perfect
Who was that guy in VVAW who was with Kerry and turned out to be a fraud and wasn't even in the military? He's a black man on stage with Ramsey Clark (most recognizable photo). I'm half-kidding when I suggest it is that guy.
Back then, I think he went by the name Frizzell Gray.
