I am much more concerned about the DEAD VOTE and the DOUBLE REGISTERED VOTERS and the MOTOR VOTERS and the ILLEGAL INTRUDERS VOTERS. Those I want stopped.
Blacks are smart enough to realize that the Dims have used them for TP for years.
Maybe he should take out billboards like in Missouri - 02 suggesting that if they vote for Bush "another black church will burn".

I agree black voters are intelligent enough to realize that they are pawns of the left. However, it is impossible to reason a person out of a position they reached with emotionalism.

Blacks seem to think their votes were suppressed, and the media favoring Gore ran with that story however nobody talks about the military vote in 2004.... in 2000 there was as much controversy over the military vote being messed up (can we use "suppressed" for military too?)....and I hope this time around they are going to be included as there is a far larger contingent of military out of country than there was in 2000.

In addition, Kerry's camp seem to think raising fear in Black voters will again work against Bush. I think we should start asking questions about the military's right to have their votes counted (especially now in war time).

No you cannot. In this day in time the military can only fight for the right to vote. They don't actually have the right to vote. (unless of course as a group they might vote Democrat...then it's okay. Kind of a flip-flop type issue)
As a person involved almost exclusively with the Black community, it is offensive to assume anything about people's ethics, opinions or political views. To count on anyone's vote as a block is naive at best, and trivializing at worst.
While many votes may go to Kerry, the plantation voting system assumed by the Democrats breaks down the more Blacks realize their independence as business owners and intellectuals.
Frankly, the Democratic viewpoint insults their eyes. Who are Powell, Powell of the FCC, Rice and Paige after all? What of the countless state and federal workers who happen to be Black. The division is not truly one of race, but money, and Kerry does have the most; he is in fact trying to buy the election.

As long as the people of color continue to define themselves as "separate" from the rest of the United States population, they will feel special. This will not always work because their numbers are slowly becoming less and less significant compared with other minority groups.
I suggest they give it up and become unhyphenated Americans along with the rest of us (me included as soon as I get my citizenship that is), and take up the responsibility for themselves instead of demanding attention from their lawmakers.
Only when these imagined divisions are eraced will their be enough voting power to actually sway our govenrment into getting down to the business we are paying them to do.
Groups can be culturally diverse and retain their heritage and traditions, but when it comes to government, we are all paddling that old rowboat together.....better paddle in the same direction or we lose.
God rest their weary, hateful, tortured souls.......and bring them peace.
His whole campaign revolves around negative attacks on Bush.
