Just got on---trying to catch up with some 200 threads. So many things are happening recently!
Re- Russian suspicions- I tend to think the "influential persons" are part of the "old" KGB...
Sometimes I wonder if the Cold War ever truly ended, or just went underground for awhile. I recall reading that some in the US suspected Russia of involvement in 9-11 from the very start.
Thank you for the links!
I defer to your knowledge- knowing absolutely NOTHING about subs. I certainly hope that the writer was wrong!!!
Dear Fullwave: RE:
"Osama
has give execution order all are to proceed at precise time"
Any further word on this?
So many mainstream messages and shows are now warning us on a continual basis to prepare....
Saw a TV ad the other night. Dad is in the backyard showing off to his kids. He throws himself down on a waterslide but has neglected to water it down.
Got water? Getready.gov
I saw another one at a train station. This shows a woman's collection of cosmetics---followed by a comment about being prepared and having a flashlight, etc.

Re Photos:
The retouched picture of Abderraouf Jdey does resemble the translator I met in an internet cafe in Philly last summer.
However, the fellow I met was:
ALOT skinnier
and POOR
The guy I met said he was:
in his forties
a French/Arabic translator
looking for employment
had lived in NYC prior to Philly
was chronically ANGRY about lack of money
always alone
visited internet cafe and bookstores
made intrusive comments
said he had to offer extra cash to obtain his apartment- was
angry about this and quite cynical
had business cards made up advertising himself as a translator
disappeared after the initial "Muslims leave NYC/DC/LA and the East Side (coast)" warning was initially made.
came back one other time, months later- with briefcase in h and. He was NOT friendly.
I had the same thought, Honestly...
Re- your links. I couldn't help but notice the name:
"Not Long"
Upon hearing that there were 2 separate explosions, my gut feeling was that it was sabotage of some sort.
Thank you for your information about the Traveller poster.
MILNET Brief
Potential Al Qaeda Strongholds, August 30, 2004
This brief looks at areas of interest to the World's Intelligence Community who are looking for Qaeda strongholds. We look at areas that either have shown a sympathetic attitude toward Al Qaeda, where civil liberties and rule of law prevent ousting of cells without convincing proof, as well as those areas where Al Qaeda leadership are suspected to have been in place for some time. While we have endeavored to find multiple sources for the information in this brief, we have to admit that this area of intelligence analysis is exttremely sensitive and public data is scarce or uncorroborated. We will state up front -- this report contains much interpretation and speculation.

You can definitely add the forthcoming 2000-camera network to be installed across the city...
I've been seeing these over the last month. Weird isn't it? Not to worry though, it is just a service that shortens long URLs...

Here is one I just created.

I prefer TinURL ---> http://tinyurl.com/
Yes, I've seen some of them too.
In my opinion, they are kind of silly, but
probably get the point across to the soccer
mom and lame-brain dad types.
The second explosion has not been offically confirmed.
Thank you Jersey Girl.
It would be nice if you REPORT IT (anonymously is fine).

Well- guess we will be finding out the truth fairly soon:

"True nature of N.Korean explosion will become known in a week - expert"
MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax)
Professor Alexei Yablokov, president of the Russian Center for Environmental Policies, said it will become clear in about a week whether the North Korean explosion was nuclear.
"There is an absolutely precise sign of a nuclear explosion: the content of radionuclides in the air, which is detected by special instruments even in the event of an underground explosion. Therefore, everything will become clear in about a week," Yablokov told Interfax on Monday.
Thanks for the feedback Donna.
