Text of memos about Bush suspension

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Here are the texts of four memos indicating George W. Bush was suspended from flying during the Vietnam war because he failed to meet Texas Air National Guard standards and did not take his annual flight physical as required. Copies of the memos were provided by the White House.

In this context, I would call an "official source" the White House, Pentagon, AP, Washington Post, or any other news agency that would prefer the documents NOT be forgeries.
Exactly. These kinds of documents are obviously not stored at the WH. They couldn't have originated there. Anyway, if the WH were to forge docs, wouldn't they shed a positive light on Bush?

It's remotely possible that the documents aren't forged but to me extremely unlikely. In another thread, someone mentioned that at least one of the documents has a bit of superscript font in it, the kind you would automatically be "auto-text-ed" in by Microsoft Word unless you tell it to do otherwise.
Specifically in the May 4, 1972, memo, the second bullet point says:
“2. Report to 111th F.L.S. administrative officer for schedule of appointment and additional instructions. Examination will be conducted in duty status.”
The “th” on “111th” is in SUPERSCRIPT. The likelihood of an Air National Guard unit having a state-of-the-art typewriter that could type superscript – assuming such a thing even existed in 1972 – is slim to none. Everything they have is hand-me-downs from the active duty Air Force, like, for example, the F-102’s by that date. Chances are that National Guard clerks had only manual typewriters that didn’t have this capability. I’m not even aware of any electric typewriters from that era that had such a capability.
Even if they did, there is no reason on such plain, straightforward memos for a clerk to bother with superscripting the “th” when “111th” in all the same font is perfectly acceptable.
Somebody came up with this piece of crap on Microsoft Word and forgot about Microsoft's auto-text default on superscript-able words.

Ok the documents in question came from CBS, CBS faxed the documents to the White House before the 60 minutes hit job.
I would imagine the White House didn't want only CBS to have the documents gave out copies to all the media outlets.
The White House made no comments as to the documents legitimacy, they just released them to everyone.
Unless the White House is doing a reverse psychology thingy....Put out semi-damaging letters which replace the actual damaging letters....Putting out glowing recommendations would make the forgeries too obvious!!! See how tightly the tin-foil is wrapped around my head?
You're so right. Now we have to get the truth out to our fellow citizens. I believe the American people, armed with thruth, will always do the right thing.
If all you watched was the "MSM wouldn't you hate Bush too? Wouldn't voting for Kerry seem like the only thing to do to save the Republic? The trouble we have is that lots of people know so much that isn't so. We are the "MSM's" worst nightmare because we are strong willed people. Most information outlets in this country (the Old Media and Hollywood) force feed the Rat worldview on the American people. We are the people that they don't control, and they hate us for it.
By the way, if anybody wants the REAL CBS fax number, read it (quickly) on the top of the AP's forged documents "from the White House" ....
