MY EYES! MY EYES!
Good morning Tomkow!
I laughed when I read your message
that the Cubs were broadcasting reruns to fill air time
during the canceled games.

Hiya EG. HUGS back at ya. Going ok, but of course work is piling up now that we only have a four-day work week. How was your weekend?

Hiya Spotsy. You know, I knew we must be twins. We have a lot in common. You received by telephathy message loud and clear, as twins do. We even look alike. And, we see eye-to-eye ! LOL.

I'm glad to hear that your sister is safe and sound and that Sarge and his home detachment had a good time camping.

I had fun last Halloween, my first in the new neighborhood. When little kids, 3-6 years old, would come to the door, I would hold out cans of broccoli, peas, carrots, etc. and ask which one they wanted.
Every single kid politely chose one of the cans of veggies. No one complained!! Then, much to their relief, I would bring the candy out!

Well, I cleaned out the furnace this morning in anticipation of winter comingI also shuffled some of the stuff in my closet and took out the jumpsuits and put the t-shirts back in. The weather's nice today. Not much else happening.

Vehicle mechanics strive to maintain perfect record

8/27/2004 KARSHI-KHANBAD AIR BASE, Uzbekistan -- Staff Sgt. Jason Curra tops off a Humvee with antifreeze while Tech. Sgts. William Underwood (center) and Matt Cooper prepare to pressurize the entire cooling system to detect leaks. The vehicle mechanics are assigned to the 416th Air Expeditionary Group here where, for the past two months, they have maintained a 100-percent vehicle in-commission rate.
At this base, located north of Afghanistan, a team of five mechanics are making history in their own little corner of the world.
I will look to see if the streak has continued.

Will You help keep the Candle Lit for our service men and women?
Can you spare a few moments today to either
e-mail them or learn about sending packages to them?
Many of them are away from home for the 1st time.
PLEASE Click on the graphic and help cheer them up.
You will stay right where you are on this thread while you write them.
Thank You
