Does Hannity have something against Limbaugh?
He just said, "We show up on Fridays"
It was a week or two ago he said, "We're not taking vacations here, it's too important, we'll be here to election day." or something like that, jabbing at Rush for going to Scotland??
Anyone got anything on this?
And Rush stopped flogging his books years ago.
Rush wins.
Seems like several of the Fox hosts aren't there on Fridays this summer - like bill. I love it when Tony or John (Gibson or Kasich) sub fpr him - except when they have to replay bill's old interviews.
I doubt it. First Rush is evacuating the hurricane and that is why he is off the air.
Plus last week a caller called Sean Rush by mistake. Sean corrected him and said "That is OK because we are good friends" talking about Rush.
What is Al Franken doing?
Hannity might be cracking at Franken.
Hannity will be joining the "Slickster" if he is not careful. Limbaugh is the sensible one here and Rush may be getting in a little romancing too.
Rush will be off Monday. I remember when he worked holidays because it gave him a chance to reach people who were off and could not usually catch his show.
Dude, he says this all the time. It has nothing to do with Limbaugh.
Right. I think it's pretty well known there is no love lost between Hannity & O'Reily. When he makes that statement it isn't Rush in his mind.
he has been saying this all summer ,as the leading light on the elections..he's a good guy
I'd say you're right. Boortz and Hannity have a friendly rivalry that goes back to when they were both on the radio in Atlanta in competing time slots. They trade these little jabs with each other, but they're chummy jabs.
This is one of the problems with many conservative talk-show hosts: Too much of the program is about the program,
or the program in relation to the rest of the media. Not enough is about the issues and the news. In this way, valuable air time is wasted. These guys' egos are too big. You'd think they'd be satisfied by just educating the public. But no, they have to be stars in their own right.
I think that's a stretch(taking jabs at El Rushbo)but I do remember when Hannity"Hi-Jacked"Bob Grant's theme-music(Rocky/Gonna Fly Now).It was right after Bob got axed at WABC for the comment he made about Ron Brown being the only survivor of his plane-crash(if there was going to be a single survivor).Bob went over to WOR and Hannity began using his theme. That made me angry!!!
It seems like I've heard Hannity joke about all people in general calling in sick or taking off just because it's Friday. That's how I took it anyway.
There is nothing to this. Hannity has never had anything but praise for Rush. He credits him with being the "God Father" of conservative talk radio.
While I agree with you,why is it that EVERY time I see his face(or hear his voice)I think of "Buster Brown"shoes?
I agree - I think that's exactly what it is.
I'm pretty sure he's just kidding around. He seems to like Rush based on anything I've ever heard him say about the guy.
Almost phonetic!
