LOL. See I told you. He saved a hamster, he can save Clinton.

"I cannot help but think that President Bush would want us to do the very same thing he asks us to do for him ... pray. May the Lord protect President Clinton, and that He will do a transforming work in both his spiritual and physical heart."
Doesn't the individual have to do the asking? Clinton's latter end is none of my business, however, when one has spent the past 10 years praying that our Heavenly Father's will be done with the likes of Clinton, would it not be a bit fraudulent to now pray a different prayer?
To: LisaFab
He's fortunate that he'll get some of the best doctors in the world to perform the surgery. After all, medicine remains private enterprise here in the US.

Weelll, I would hope he fully recovers AFTER the election (I AM bad!).

I wish him well! May he come out of this okay! Folks, please be gracious!"You better put some ice on that."
I wish he would tell the truth. We will know if he does.

My asking for folks to be gracious has nothing to do with Bill Clinton.
It has to do with how people see us as individuals on this forum.
Please do, by being kind.

Ouch. Prayers out to him.
The man's a liar, a cheat, a scumbag, and probably a rapist, but I don't wish death on him.

Not really .. When my FIL had his heart attack .. he went to the local hosital and had the balloon thing done and it didn't work
He was then transferred to a Boston Hospital for his quadruple bypass surgery .. it was a better hospital for this procedure
That sounds exactly like what happened here. He went to a hospital in Westchester (likely the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, near his house) and got a checkup. Some reports stated that he had an angioplasty. If they are correct, I guess it didn't work. He was then transfered to Columbia Presbyterian, which is one of the best heart hospitals in New York.

But then again on the day I got home I ran a mileI hope that was after the angio. I couldn't stand up for 2 minutes the day I left the hospital. I was so glad to leave the hospital, that I asked to be taken to Wal-mart to get my prescriptions filled. I toodled around on one of those electric carts for around a half hour waiting for the medicine. I thought I was going to die then. Big mistake.

We demonstrate class not only in how we handle our own triumphs and crises, but also in how we react to the wins and losses of those who oppose us. I agree...and I really don't understand the reasoning behind it still being in breaking news...let alone existing as a thread to begin with, its "newsworthiness" lasted about 5 minutes.
Unless the sole purpose is to expose the A-holes on this board. You'd expect those kind of assinine responses over @ DU.

More likely scared Sh*tless.Well, that's more like it--but my BIL would try to keep us from getting nervous and frightened while we tried to cheer him up.
It hard to remember those very difficult times at the hospital with my BIL. My sister lived in hospital waiting rooms, and now, because of his diabetes along with the heart transplant (about nine years ago), he's having problems again--not rejection, but probably overmedication. He passed out early this week and cracked his collarbone, and he passed out again yesterday, but didn't hurt himself. The doc is going to refer him to yet another specialist and see if they can find out what's wrong. It's very worrying.

It's Labor Day weekend. No one's watching the news anyway. And the Florida hurricane would have sucked all the air out anyway.
This weekend is perfect for dumping bad news. It's probably the last chance to do so. Be on the look out for bad news emanating from the Kerry campaign. I was expecting him to take the Swiftees on directly "once and for all" at some point this weekend.

Post angioplasty. :-}
Bypass is way more invasive, no comparison. Once the pipe is open, its open. Blood flows to the heart muscle, CV capapbility immediately increases and I felt better than I had in a long time.
Running that mile was actually quite easy but I wouldn't recommend it. LOL

I know all surgery is dangerous. However, bypass surgery has been incredibly successful and I suspect he'll have a full and complete recovery.
What kills me is the media is announcing this every two minutes hyping it as if he were in an accident or something. Once again Bubba is taking the spotlight away from the sinking carey campaign.
