I rushed to FR to see what was going on. Our office received a call that Clinton had a heart attack. I guess the democrat party/media meltdown was too much for him. No furthur comment. My grandma always told me if you don't have something good to say about someone, don't say anything at all. (Okay, so I don't always heed Grandma's advice, but the moment, it is probably well-advised).
Remember how Hill was supposed to be the "truth squad" for the repub convention and somehow she didn't show,,I wonder if it was about this.
Touche' :))
Clinton doesn't have an ounce of my respect, but I don't wish heart disease on anyone. Praying for the former president's recovery and a long life.
NO, NO, NO! We MUST keep Church and State SEPERATE. And as ex-POTUS, this crosses the line as the gubmint is paying for this. Where's the ACLU on this?? I say kick him out NOW and off to Bellevue. Or a nice hospital in Communist China or Cuba!
Nope, sorry people. NO sympathy OR empathy here. Not for this maggot.
::NOTE TO SELF::
Behave.
:(
My favorite brother-in-law has had two bypass surgeries and a heart transplant, and it has been very difficult at times. I wish him well.
You know, I really do have to give Bill a nod of approval here. If the reports are correct that he was seen/hospitalized a couple of days ago with chest pains, he could have publicized it when it first happened, in order to take attention away from the RNC, but that didn't happen.
Here's a round of applause for Bill doing the right thing, for once in his life.
This is a gift to the media.
Now they don't have to cover the followup to the convention, don't have to talk about Kerry's embarrassing, petty, and desparate midnight speech, and don't have to mention the good job and unemployment numbers. Just all Bill Clinton, all the time.
No sure .. FNC just said her office said she is in up state NY
Geez....OK. I hope Clinton has a speedy recovery. I will respect Jim Robinson, FR, and won't be as nasty as the du'ers were with RWR..........
.....but that might change if I see a video of him from a hospital bed, hooked up in an ICU unit, whispering as if it might be his last words on earth, saying:
"Go out and win one for the flipper !!.....AND don't forget about my book....."
I wish him full recovery.
Fox News has a graphic up that Clinton had angioplasty surgery earlier in the week.
Hedgecock, filling in for Rush, just speculated that this may have been a reason for Clinton not to release his medical records.
You still need to respect the man for the office he held.
Get off your moral high horse. You sound a fool telling me what I must do.
He is an American after all.
Charles Manson is an American. As was Jeffery Dahlmer. I suggest you rethink your argument that somehow because a person is an American it makes a valid argument. It doesn't. At best it's lazy thinking.
That said, Bill Clinton is more valuable living in good health than he would be sickly or worse. In the big picture, he's still an asset. An asset to undermining dishonesty.
The pendulum has swung the other direction, toward honest. Honesty outlives the lies, deceptions and irrationalities. It always has and always will. Democrats, the left and liberals are but the first in its path on its way to bowl over Republicans, the right and conservatives. Then all politics and religions.
HA!HA!.. LOL! :))
Maybe it is time to ask Juanita for her forgiveness.
Ditto that. Time to make peace with your maker. I wonder if his heart is black.
