Subject: Think Positive !

How to start each day with a positive outlook:

1. Open a new file in your PC.
2. Name it "John Kerry."
3. Send it to the trash.
4. Empty the trash.
5. Your PC will ask you, "do you really want to get rid of John
Kerry?"
6. Answer calmly, "yes," and press the mouse button firmly.
7. Feel better.....

High or not, Kerry would bludgeon himself to death before ordering out of a clown's head. Are there any yacht clubsin Springfield?

And shouldn't he have absorbed those by now?

This is probably more than you wanted to know, but my Dad got a small wood splinter in the big muscleof his thumb when he was 3 years old. It's still there, and he turned 55 this year.

It just seemed like it was way past his bed time and that he couldn't think clearly.

Reminds me of Chris Elliott's first night on Saturday Night Live, a sketch where he "auditions" to take over the part of Bill Clinton, screws it up and then says, "what do you expect? I've NEVER been up this late IN MY LIFE!"

Thanks for the report. Was the candidate as detached in person as it seemed on my TV? He came across on my screen as really tired and haggard. Drunk, maybe? Hungover? Amphetamines?

Kerry-Edwards Show in Springfield
Barney showed for the free beer and the comicbook guy showed and heckled them. Kerry then proposed to Mr. Burns and edwards was last seen holding hands and skipping off with Smithers.

That's cool that you went to this. How many Bush supporters were there, do you think?

How much money did Kerry waste on this little jaunt to Springfield? I think he may be more daft than Gore.

This must be what happens when someone basically skates through all his Senate contests and is really not challenged in the primaries. (Weld didn't really challenge him - he just basically parroted him). Couple that with a sycophantic media in his home state.

Kerry is really thin skinned. My guess is the Swiftvets are about to drop a double barreled blast right in his lap.

If this is what Kerry is coming back with- confidence is high he is toast. He must not have listened to Bush's (or anyone else's)speech.

This is the Dims latest email:
Dear XXXX,
Tonight, immediately after one of the nastiest, most divisive conventions in history comes to a close, John Kerry will take the stage at a rally in Springfield, OH and lay out his plan for the future to strengthen this country and reverse the last four years. I want to give you -- our online supporters -- a preview of what John Kerry will say.

Thank you,

Mary Beth Cahill
Campaign Manager

Excerpts of John Kerry's Upcoming Remarks

The election comes down to this. If you believe this country is heading in the right direction, you should support George Bush. But if you believe America needs to move in a new direction, join with us. John and I offer a better plan that will make us stronger at home and more respected in the world. And we need your help to do that.

For three days in New York, instead of talking about jobs and the economy, we heard anger and insults from the Republicans. And I'll tell you why. It's because they can't talk about the real issues facing Americans. They can't talk about their record because it's a record of failure.

We all saw the anger and distortion of the Republican Convention. For the past week, they attacked my patriotism and my fitness to serve as commander in chief. Well, here's my answer. I'm not going to have my commitment to defend this country questioned by those who refused to serve when they could have and by those who have misled the nation into Iraq.

The vice president even called me unfit for office last night. I guess I'll leave it up to the voters whether five deferments makes someone more qualified to defend this nation than two tours of duty.

Let me tell you what I think makes someone unfit for duty. Misleading our nation into war in Iraq makes you unfit to lead this nation. Doing nothing while this nation loses millions of jobs makes you unfit to lead this nation. Letting 45 million Americans go without health care makes you unfit to lead this nation. Letting the Saudi royal family control our energy costs makes you unfit to lead this nation. Handing out billions of government contracts to Halliburton while you're still on their payroll makes you unfit. That's the record of George Bush and Dick Cheney. And it's not going to change. I believe it's time to move America in a new direction; I believe it's time to set a new course for America.

And we have a specific plan to do just that. So tomorrow morning, John and Elizabeth and Teresa and I are hitting the road across America's heartland. From here, we'll go out and talk with Americans in towns across Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan. And because a stronger America begins at home, we'll talk about our plan to create jobs, cut taxes for the middle class, lower health care costs, and make America safer and more secure.

Springfield Ohio? Not so -- Kerry was upriver in Cambodia last night. With a boatful of cookie munching super-secret special forces.

I wanted to slap (figuratively) that dorky, geeky, smile right off of his face when he was standing behind edwards.
