I think so too. It's just wacky and desperate. And he had the nerve to say something about how now that Bush's speech is finally over, he can talk. It's not his night; it's Bush's night. What arrogance.

You're right; he never did get tested in the primaries. Once Dean imploded, the nomination fell to him by default. It's unbelievable how thin-skinned he is; I thought you had to have a thicker skin than that to get through politics. And all the Vietnam talk was a joke six months ago, and he still mentions it in every speech. Talk about living in the past!
