The cowboys are not based in Dallas, they are based in Irving. Their staduim is in one of the most desolate areas of the metroplex.

Thanks for your info. They are based in Irvin, but the owner and club hang out in Dallas and they let the JERKS in Dallas set their morals. I hope they get completely out of Dalls and Dallas County.

>>Their staduim is in one of the most desolate areas of the metroplex.<<

You apparantly haven't seen much, if any, of the metroplex. The stadium is located about a mile and a half from Las Colinas, and only about a half mile or so from the "new" restraunt row in Dallas, off Loop 12 and Northwest Highway.

I will admit the IMMEDIATE (within an eighth of a mile) area surrounging the parking lot is a little desolate. Of course, that could be because it is surrounded by 3 freeways and a river.

Lone Star Park in Grand Prarie is in just as desolate area as Texas Stadium. To some extent, so is the Ballpark in Arlington, though the latter isn't surrounded by highways. That's the difference.
